For this exercise, the actors worked with an original script written by Sofiya Kudryavtseva specifically for this acting course.

The scene is inspired by a traditional Hindu tale about King Akbar and a poor man Brahmin - Ramu, in our adaptation, - part of the wider cycle of Akbar and Birbal stories.

The story was suggested for film adaptation by Shailesh Kumar.

🎭 DRAMA ACTORS — REGULAR CLASSES ARE BACK

Starting 1 September • Luxembourg City • In English

Formerly Sofiya’s Drama, our ongoing acting group returns this September under a new name: DRAMA ACTORS.

A space to work regularly on classical drama and film acting, develop your craft and keep acting throughout the year.

Open to committed actors — and beginners willing to work seriously.

ONGOING ACTING LAB
Every Tuesday · 18:00–21:00

* occasional weekend activities
(e.g. filming a scene, guest talks, additional practice, etc.)

€200 / month

There is no obligation to continue from one month to the next. However, registration is on a monthly basis and prepayment is mandatory.

Payment for the upcoming month is due by the last Monday of the preceding month.

New participants can join at the beginning of each month, subject to available places.

🎭 SUMMER ACTING INTENSE IS BACK! ☀️… but this time it’s called ACTING GOR ACTORS and is led by Gil Frising

Staying in Luxembourg this August? Spend a week acting with us.

This summer edition is all about practice. No final performance, no pressure - just 14 hours of acting, creativity, exploration and fun in a relaxed summer atmosphere.

This year’s intensive will be led by Gil Frising, who will introduce his own approach to acting in a bilingual English & Luxembourgish environment.

Sofiya will also be joining some of the sessions ;-)

Pause, imagine and create 🦄🧚‍♀️🐲

Over coffee and carrot cake, we’ll play improv games and make vision boards - a creative collage of images, words and drawings that capture your dreams, goals and the future you’d like to create.

No artistic experience is needed - just curiosity and an open mind.

📍 We’ll be gathering at Beim Struwweltëntert in Tuntange, a beautiful café in the north of the country, around 25 minutes from Luxembourg City.

It’s well worth the trip - not only is the setting picturesque, but they also make what might just be the best carrot cake in the country of Luxembourg. 🥕🍰

🎟️ There is no participation fee. We simply ask everyone who joins us to support the café by ordering at least a tea or coffee (and we highly recommend trying the cake!).

🎧 Meet the DJ who’s closing our season.

This Saturday, we’re celebrating the end of another incredible Acting.lu season, and we’re excited to welcome Anton Amelin to the decks from 22:00 until 01:00.

Based in Luxembourg, AMELIN is a DJ and producer blending tech house, deep house and techno. With a background in classical piano, he creates warm, melodic sets that gradually build the energy and keep the dance floor moving.

His debut single, Ch*****ne Dance, was released earlier this year, with more music on the way. Check it out on Spotify!

Before the dancing begins, join us from 20:00 for drinks, dinner and a chance to catch up with the Acting.lu community. Whether you’ve taken one of our classes or are simply curious to meet us, you’re very welcome.
