After finishing a Bachelor Degree in Namur (Belgium) with distinction in 2010, , Engel Thibault continued his studies in Holland, at the Royal Conservatory of Den Haag,
with Fedor Teunisse, Hanz Zonderop, Luuk Nagteraal, Rob Verhalen and Ali. Since september 2014, he is a Drumset and Percussion Teacher at the Music School UGDA. Since 2012, he focuses also on playing jazz drums and jazz harmony on

the piano, with Erik Ineke and Eric Giebens. Since 2013, he entered the Master in Education course and is currently teaching percussion for the Fanfare Excelsior in Noordwijk (Netherlands).
