Congratulations to our Doctoral Researcher and elite athlete Yves Wehmer on an outstanding performance at the ICF Wildwater Canoeing World Championships 🏆.

Competing against the world’s best 🚣‍♂️, Yves reached the Sprint Final and secured a 12th-place finish, marking a strong result for Luxembourg 🇱🇺 on the international stage. This achievement comes as he balances sport competition with presenting two years of doctoral research at an international conference.

We wish Yves every success in the upcoming World Cup Series, which spans three venues and begins in Hungary 🇭🇺 this month.

Can sustainability sell? 🧐

That’s the question driving our student Yuri Lan’s master’s thesis research - and it just earned him one of the first Look Up Now – in memoriam of Laure Belin research grants. 🎉

Yuri's research focuses on consumer willingness to pay for sustainable products - examining which features consumers value and how much more they are willing to pay for them.

Congratulations to Yuri and fellow grant recipient Yama Shan Ki Lau, a student in the Master in Geography and Spatial Planning. 👏

Special thanks to Véronique Degbomont and Look Up Now for supporting meaningful student-led research.
