This week is all about getting everything ready for the 'Building Blocks of Inquiry' course starting on Monday, the 4th of March!
The final countdown has started and I am honest, I am starting to be a bit nervous!
The group cover page is done and the facebook group is almost ready to go! I am excited to meet new teachers there and am looking forward to great discussions!
Becoming more child-centered and play-based can be difficult, which is why we will work on this process within the framework of one simple project, focussing on one area to build our skills, learn to let go and gain confidence in open ended situations.
You would love to join? It's not too late, YET!

Time for a new blog post: Want to know how a snail has led to many teacher lessons to be learned?
Hope my series of classroom projects can inspire others to follow the children's lead in order to be more child-centered and playbased, as I try to share prsonal realisations, thoughts and intentional decisions made.
Feedback and discussions are more than welcome!

For a long time I felt alone on my reggio-inspired journey. I saw all these pretty images and thought I was incompetent, because my setting or provocations didn't look as beautiful.
They made it look so easy and therefore I think it is time to share a real story with all the mistakes and enotional ups and downs!

Yesterday I had one of those days where it was difficult to cope and I remembered all the times I went home from school and just cried, feeling like a failure.
Being reggio-inspired and being a teacher is not always easy.
What keeps you going in this situation?
For me it has always been the magic and sparkle in the children's eyes when I see them every morning. Looking back at pictures of all the beautiful investigations we have embarked on and seeing the awe in their curious faces!
