At ISL, the Cancer Action Group continues to thrive as a dynamic network of student-led initiatives, where projects are passed on and reimagined every year with each group building on the work of those before them. Among many projects under this group is the Rose Project, carried out in partnership with the Fondation Cancer. This initiative focuses on creating handmade paper roses to offer hope and courage to patients currently undergoing treatment for cancer, reminding them that they are not alone in their journey.
This year, two Grade 11 students took the lead. With the support of a small team, they coordinated the preparation, distribution, and collection process resulting in a total of 220 roses, which were delivered to 3 local hospitals. We spoke with the two student leaders about their inspiration, their process, and what they learned along the way.

On 12 May, ISL welcomed students and families from across Luxembourg to our UK Higher Education Fair, hosted in partnership with the British Embassy.
With 21 UK universities on campus, the event offered students valuable insights into study options, applications, and life in the UK. We thank all the attending universities.
We are especially grateful to the British Embassy for their invaluable support in organising this event, and extend our sincere thanks to Ambassador Joanne Olivier for joining us and helping to make the day such a success.
We would also like to thank all the universities who participated and contributed their time and expertise to make this event such a valuable experience for our community.
