...:::There are options,YOU are not alone with this:::...
You don't go to the airport to catch a boat, right? (thanks ) So why keep going?
It was December of 2017. I was 33 years old. My left leg had a broken toe and I dragged myself all the way from Goa to Mumbai, and from there to Dhamma Giri, the Vipassana Centre where I was going to spend Christmas and New Year, doing nothing but meditating for 10 hours a day, for 10 days.
Where am I going with this?
Well, I allowed myself to heal, to go within, to take that time out of time and disappear. WIth nothing but my clothes, a bed, some soap. Just me and my mind.
And where am I going with this?
Well, I allowed myself.
So, if you are currently going through an attack, don't try and catch a boat at an airport, meaning, don't pretend life goes on and keep pushing yourself to look functional to the outside world.
Allow yourself to catch that boat anyway.
Allow yourself to nurture yourself.
Support yourself through an anxiety attack.
Take time out of time. Forget everyone else. Just LOVE YOU.
It´s ok. It really is.
And as I walked out of that Vipassana Centre, 10 days later, my toe was good and I had the impression like time had just stopped, like as if I had pushed PAUSE on a VCR and now I had the remote control to PRESS PLAY again.
That PRESS PLAY - is your LIFE. Only YOURS.
Go sail your boat!
I love you.
I am here for you.
Yours freshly,
Isabel
PS My doggo just farted like there is no tomorrow! HALP!!!!!
On my healing journey I thank - I could not have done it without you.
