What a day! A brilliant start to the new school year!

What a first day! With blue skies overhead, smiles all around and positive buzz running throughout the campus!

Our EYFS and Primary students jumped straight into a wonderful mix of creative activities, playful discovery and learning. Our Year 7 students also began their Secondary journey, getting to know the school and one another through a busy induction day of workshops and campus tours.

There was another exciting arrival too: our new dragon mascot, name is yet to be confirmed, made its debut and brought even more fun to the day.

Tomorrow, we look forward to welcoming back the rest of our Secondary students and having the whole school community back together!

We hope every student has gone home happy, inspired and full of stories from their first day. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!

It has been lovely to welcome our staff back to St George’s this week for INSET.

The past few days have been filled with preparation, reflection, collaboration and planning as our teams get ready for the new school year. From safeguarding and school priorities to classroom preparation and team discussions, staff have been working together to ensure our students return to a warm, welcoming and purposeful environment.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming our students back tomorrow and Friday.

We cannot wait to see you all!

What a great summer!!

Today marked the final day of our Summer Schools, filled with creativity, teamwork and fun.

Students explored Creative Arts, Ball Sports, Art, Craft and Design and Acting for Stage, developing new skills, building confidence and making new friends along the way.

Our staff thoroughly enjoyed working with such kind and talented students. We hope they enjoyed the experience as much as we did!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Summer Schools so special.

The Results Are In – Congratulations to Our Students!

We are delighted to celebrate an excellent set of GCSE and BTEC results for our students this year.

⭐ 54% of GCSE and BTEC grades were either 9 or 8 / Distinction* or Distinction an increase on 2025
⭐ 93% of GCSE and BTEC grades were 9 to 5 / Distinction* to Pass
⭐ An outstanding 99.8% pass rate!

We are also incredibly proud to see a number of students achieving a full set of grades at 8 or 9, including one student who achieved grade 9 in every subject.

These results reflect not only the hard work, determination and commitment of our students, but also the support and encouragement of our staff across the whole school. From teaching and learning to the many teams working behind the scenes, the success of our students is truly a collective effort.

Congratulations to all our students and thank you to everyone who has supported them along the way!!

Today we celebrate not only your achievements, but also the dedication, resilience and hard work that have brought you to this milestone.

⭐ 44% of A Level and BTEC grades were A* or A / Distinction* or Distinction
⭐ 84% of A Level and BTEC grades were A* to C / Distinction* to Pass
⭐ A 99% overall pass rate

We are incredibly proud of every student and wish our Year 13 leavers every success as they take their next steps into university, apprenticeships, employment and beyond.

Meet Emma, the student artist behind this year’s Primary Yearbook cover.

Emma created Dragon Eye over four weeks in art lessons, blending the colourful pupil with watercolours and adding intricate details with pens. While her classmates explored fire and water dragons, Emma combined different ideas to create a dragon eye that was entirely her own.

“I like that you can be as creative as you want and whatever you make becomes a piece of art,” Emma shared.

We are proud to celebrate Emma’s imagination and creativity, and we can't wait to see what inspires her next.

St George's Summer schools

Our students have had a brilliant week exploring their creativity through Creative Arts and building their skills and teamwork through Ball Sports.

From colourful creations to energetic games, it has been great to see everyone learning, laughing and enjoying new experiences together.
