La semaine dernière, les éducateurs-trices de nos classes GEA ont participé à des ateliers sur les « littératies multiples ». Plusieurs expert-e-s leur ont montré comment les médias numériques et analogiques peuvent être utilisés pour permettre à leur public de s’exprimer. Les apprenant-e-s ont découvert comment aider leur public à développer les compétences nécessaires pour évoluer dans le monde d’aujourd’hui. Du mot désignant le corbeau à l’utilisation de l’IA pour l’écriture d’un scénario, en passant par l’utilisation ciblée des techniques d’interview télévisée, jusqu’à l’enregistrement d’un podcast et la production de divers types de films en stop-motion, tous les sujets ont été abordés.

Last week, the educators in our GEA classes took part in workshops on ‘multiliteracies.’ Various experts showed them how digital and analogue media can be used to enable their audiences to express their voices. They discovered how they can help their audience develop the skills to navigate the world of today. From a word for the crow and the use of AI when writing a script, to the targeted use of television interview techniques, right through to recording a podcast and producing various types of stop-motion film, everything was covered.

Avant les vacances de Pentecôte, nos apprenant-e-s ont présenté, lors de la foire au projets de l'ENAD, les projets élaborés au cours des derniers mois dans le cadre des 17 objectifs de développement durable. En tant que membre du Réseau des écoles associées de l'UNESCO, l'ENAD accorde une grande importance au travail de projet. Nous avons par ailleurs saisi cette occasion pour signer notre accord de partenariat avec Mérite Jeunesse et nous nous réjouissons d'une bonne collaboration dans l'intérêt du développement personnel de nos apprenant-e-s.

Before the Whitsun holidays, our students presented the projects they had developed over the past few months with regard to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals at the ENAD project fair. As a member of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network, ENAD places great importance on project work. We also took this opportunity to sign our partnership agreement with Mérite Jeunesse and look forward to a fruitful collaboration in the interests of our students' personal development.

🌍✈️ Malta Connect: Multilingualism, history and cultural identity 🇲🇹

From 28 April to 2 May, the 4GSO_AD1 class had the opportunity to take part in an exciting and enriching week in Malta. The aim of the project was to improve our English language skills, discover new cultures, and broaden our understanding of cultural diversity.

The programme included many highlights: exploring Malta and its history, visiting the beautiful capital city of Valletta, the War Museum, and the grand finale of the Malta International Fireworks Festival. A boat tour along the Maltese coast was also part of this unforgettable experience.

During our visit to the National Aquarium, we discussed biodiversity and sustainability. We also conducted interviews on cultural identity and linguistic diversity, gaining valuable insights into different perspectives and ways of life on the island.

Another highlight was our visit to Mdina, the famous “City of Silence”, which impressed us with its unique atmosphere and rich history.
This trip was much more than just a school excursion – it was a valuable experience that strengthened our language skills, encouraged intercultural exchange, and created many unforgettable memories.

A special thank you goes to ENAD for the excellent organisation of this unforgettable journey. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the Oeuvre Nationale for their generous financial support, without which this project would not have been possible.

🍐 Poire flurilingue 2026 🌍✨ Quand la créativité rencontre le multilinguisme ! ✨

Au cours de la dernière année de notre formation d'éducateur en alternance, la salle de classe s'est transformée en scène pour des ateliers créatifs, variés et inspirants, riches en actions concrètes sur le multilinguisme dans la pratique pédagogique quotidienne. Dans une ambiance détendue mais stimulante, nos futur-e-s éducateurs/-trices (SGEA) ont présenté avec beaucoup d’engagement leurs propres kits d’action pour promouvoir le multilinguisme oral et écrit – étroitement liés à la pratique, bien pensés et regorgeant d’idées pour leur travail au sein de leurs établissements. Une matinée animée, riche en échanges, en inspiration et en enthousiasme !

In the final year of our educator training, the classroom became a stage for creative, diverse and inspiring action-packed workshops on multilingualism in everyday pedagogy. In a relaxed yet stimulating atmosphere, our future educators (SGEA) presented, with great commitment, their own action kits for promoting oral and written multilingualism – closely aligned with practice, well-thought-out and full of ideas for their work in their institutions. A lively morning full of exchange, inspiration and enthusiasm!

Artist Ken Nilles guided the students of the DAES CP International Arts Module through a ‘visual storytelling’ exercise exploring a black-and-white portrait photograph, reworked through drawing and accompanied by a question written by each participant.

As of today, our DAES students are sitting their final exams, which will open the doors for them to further study or the job market. We're keeping our fingers crossed and we believe in you!

Quatre apprenant-e-s de l'ENAD ont pris part à l'échange de jeunes « Youth Against Cyberbullying – Digital Human Rights » à Cagliari, en Italie, en mars dernier, aux côtés de près de 100 participant-e-s venu-e-s de 16 pays différents. Ensemble, les participant-e-s ont créé un cadre diversifié et dynamique propice au dialogue et à la collaboration. De nombreuses questions importantes ont été abordées : Qu'est-ce que les droits de l'homme ? Comment sont-ils respectés ? Et qu'en est-il des droits numériques ? Merci à FSL et TDM2000 International d'avoir rendu cela possible.

Four ENAD students took part in the youth exchange “Youth Against Cyberbullying – Digital Human Rights” in Cagliari, Italy, in March of this year, along with nearly 100 participants from 16 different countries. Together, they created a diverse and dynamic environment for dialogue and collaboration. Many important questions were discussed: What are human rights? How are they respected? And what about digital rights? Thank you to FSL and TDM2000 International for making this possible.
