The event offers an opportunity to discover different ideas, materials, and practical approaches in movement, games, and sports, designed by our 6th semester students; while exchanging experiences with colleagues from schools, higher education, and professional practice.

The Postdoctoral researcher will be a member of the Institute for Teaching and Learning within the Department of Education and Social Work at the University of Luxembourg. The person will be part of a team in the dynamic organisational context of a growing, globally connected research university. The postdoctoral researcher will work with Professor Dr Janne Fengler on gaining understandings of contexts and processes of learning and teaching. The ideal candidate has substantive interest in related issues, advanced methodological training (qualitative and / or quantitative) and would like to contribute to an international and multilingual team.

ESERA Summer School 2026 will be hosted by colleagues from our Institute.

ESERA Summer School 2026 The next ESERA Doctoral School will take place in Esch-sur-Alzette/Belval, Luxembourg from June 29th to July 3rd, 2026, hosted by University of Luxembourg. We invite PhD students working in the field of science education research to submit their applications for the ESERA Doctoral School.

I am very happy to share that we contributed a chapter to a new book on "International Perspectives of Generative AI in Education: Insights from Research in Diverse Educational Contexts". Together with Daniela Hau, Olga Marinõ and Claude Houssemand, we have been "Exploring the Aspirations and Realities of AI Acceptance Among Secondary School Teachers in Luxembourg"
