Our objective is to raise the interest of students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

ESERO Luxembourg, projet de l’ESA, l’Agence Spatiale Luxembourgeoise et le SCRIPT, vise à inspirer les élèves en intégrant les thèmes spatiaux dans les cours pour renforcer leurs compétences en sciences, technologie, ingénierie et mathématiques. ESERO Luxembourg (European Space Education Resource Office) is a joint project of the European Space Agency, the Luxembourg Space Agency and the Ministry

of Education. To this end, the themes of space travel and space are integrated in an exciting and innovative way into school lessons. In this way we try to improve students’ skills in mathematics, computer science, natural science and technology.

: Esero Luxembourg is a nationally coordinated educational initiative supported by the European Space Agency (ESA), the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA), and the Ministry of National Education, Children and Youth. Its mission is to support teachers and educators in integrating Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) into their teaching practices by leveraging the inspiring context of space.

To further strengthen the governance and development of the programme, we are looking for an experienced part-time freelance National Project Manager. 🤝

A double anniversary in the stars! 🌟

20 years ago, ESA - European Space Agency launched the ESERO project to turn space into a gateway for STEM learning in classrooms across Europe. Today, that vision has grown into a powerful network of 22 offices.

And guess what? ESERO Luxembourg is celebrating its 8th anniversary this year! ✨

For 8 years, our local mission has been clear: to inspire teachers and students across the Grand Duchy, spark curiosity, and show that space is accessible to everyone.
From water rockets to Mission X challenges, every project is an opportunity to empower tomorrow's scientists and innovators !

Le projet ESERO fête ses 20 ans ! 🎉

Do you know what happened 14 billion years after the Big Bang? 🌌

🎉 The ESERO project was born!

📚 In 2006, ESA - European Space Agency opened the first European Space Education Resource Office (ESERO) in the Netherlands. What began as one pilot initiative soon sparked something much bigger. ✨

One ESA Member State at a time, the ESERO network grew, bringing space into classrooms and beyond across Europe. 👩‍🏫

💫 Today, 22 offices help teachers and educators use space as a gateway to curiosity, creativity, and STEM learning for students.

📚 Behind every ESERO activity, are passionate teachers and educators, helping young minds learn, look up and imagine bigger futures. 🪐

🎂 This year, we celebrate 20 years of ESERO. 20 years of teachers inspiring. 20 years of European students reaching for the stars.

🪂 And we’re only just getting started…

Over the coming months, we’ll be sharing highlights and stories of ESERO achievements and ideas for the future. 🛰️

Un immense bravo aux gagnants de Mission X ! 🛰️

L'aventure Mission X touche à sa fin et nos participants ont parcouru des centaines voire des milliers de km dans l'espace afin d'aider Leo et Luna à rejoindre la Lune !

Pendant des semaines, les équipes se sont surpassées en s'entrainant comme des astronautes tout en faisant preuve d'esprit d'équipe. Il est temps de lever le voile sur le classement final et de féliciter nos grands gagnants ! 🏆

Un tonnerre d'applaudissements pour :

La semaine dernière, nos Moon Camp Days ont fait le plein d'énergie ! Environ 60 enfants ont relevé le défi de concevoir une base habitable sur la Lune. 🛰️👨‍🚀

Des idées ont fusé pour répondre aux conditions extrêmes de l'environnement lunaire. Un immense bravo à tous les participants pour leur créativité et leur esprit d'équipe, ainsi qu'aux enseignants pour leur super encadrement !

Du Luxembourg à l’Italie : nos Détectives du Climat au cœur de l'ESA ! 🌍🚀🛰️

Après leur victoire lors de la finale nationale du concours Climate Detectives 2026, nos lauréates luxembourgeoises ont brillamment représenté le Grand-Duché au Climate Detectives Summit à l'ESRIN (Italie), le centre d'observation de la Terre de l'ESA !

Au programme de cette immersion exceptionnelle :

👉 Présentation de leur projet de recherche devant des experts internationaux.
👉 Ateliers sur les données satellites et le suivi du changement climatique.
👉Échanges inspirants avec des scientifiques de haut niveau.

Un immense bravo à notre équipe lauréate pour son engagement, sa rigueur scientifique et son éloquence !

3, 2, 1... Liftoff! 🚀

Last week, the Water Rocket Challenge brought amazing energy to the . No fewer than 35 teams rose to the challenge, launching an impressive total of 105 water rockets into the air!

Huge congratulations to all the budding young engineers for their creativity and scientific rigor.

A big thank you to the teachers who helped us and supported their teams!

Astro Pi codes successfully running on the ISS 🛰️

👩‍🚀 ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot took part in Mission Zero with a pixel art design inspired by her mission patch. Can you spot it in the GIF? 👀

🔦 Watch closely: when Sophie shines a flashlight on the Astro Pi colour and luminosity sensor, the stars begin to flicker, exactly as the pixels were programmed to do! ✨
