Nauji metai tuoj ateis, visi visko prisižadėsim ir susikonstruosim save iš naujo. In Lithuania they don’t say “Life waits for no one”, they say “The train doesn’t wait for those who are sh*tting” (traukinys šikančių nelaukia).

“He ghosted me” - dar vienas angliškas variantas, kuris mano manymu yra arčiausiai mūsiškio posakio apie palikimą ant ledo👌🙂

In Lithuania, they don’t say “He fooled me” or “He left me in a difficult situation,” they say “He left me on the ice” (paliko ant ledo).
