Considering a Master's programme in Eastern European and Russian Studies? 🤔

Jasper Dietz, a first-year master’s student at VU TSPMI, shares his thoughts on studying at the Institute.

"In recent years, I developed an interest in Eastern European and Russian (geo)politics. After my bachelor's degree, I wanted to find a suitable master's programme related to this interest. I came across the EERS programme at Vilnius University, and it turned out to be a perfect match! The course is extremely versatile, looking at Eastern European (geo)political issues from multiple dimensions and perspectives. With the opportunity to choose electives as well, you can shape your curriculum according to your own interests. The professors at our institute are also incredibly knowledgeable. Not only when it comes to the academic side of things but field experience too. This is something that I specifically value. But most importantly, there is no better place to delve into Eastern European and Russian Studies than a country that is close to the fire with expertise stemming from its own experience with Russia!"
