'In my workshops, I equally divide my focus to breathing techniques, body language, text and structure. Gaining knowledge and experience from various sources such as Alexander technique, Patsy Rodenburgh enabled me to create, what I believe, the most effective system. Saying that, it is the methodology of professor J.A. Vasilyev of St. Petersburg Theatre Arts Academy that I find most suitable for my approach. This school emphasizes the reinstatement of natural original voice. The voice perhaps best reflects the human state of mind, the inner world of a human being. Exercises are designed to liberate the voice from „learned“ intonations, only to discover its own individual sound and inner rhythm, to find the body centre of gravity and an internal fundament for the voice. The technique teaches the voice to express human feelings and senses.‘
