Modern teachers at our school are increasingly embracing practical (“hands-on”) methods that enable students to explore the world through action, creativity, and discovery. For example, during today’s mathematics lesson, Year 10 students were building 3D shapes and calculating their surface area, learning not only mathematics but also developing critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
As meaningful learning experiences are created, the role of the teacher evolves—becoming not only a transmitter of knowledge, but also an inspirer, mentor, and guide in the learning process. Thank you to our mathematics teacher, Urte! 😊
