Happy to share that Workshop of Photonics has been awarded the European Commission's Seal of Excellence for our PULSE project.
This recognition follows a rigorous independent evaluation of our Selective Laser Etching (SLE) technology, which addresses critical scaling challenges in next-generation glass substrate packaging.

The certification serves as an objective validation of our technical capabilities and our team’s readiness to deliver commercially viable deep-tech innovations.
It also establishes W*P as a qualified and reliable partner for international consortiums forming under Horizon Europe frameworks.

We look forward to collaborating with industry partners as we continue transitioning this ultra-high precision technology from laboratory success into mass production.

Let's discuss , where offers a unique set of features compared to other materials. It is optically transparent, solid, electrically insulating, and amorphous. Additionally, it has thermal stability and temperature resistance, biocompatibility, chemical inertness to most fluids, and is non-permeable to gas.

Here is the coat of arms of Lithuania - an armoured knight on horseback, wielding a sword and carrying a shield. This emblem, known as Vytis, was created in our Workshop of Photonics lab using femtosecond with selective laser (SLE).

Is micro still a challenge? Even with ultrafast laser technology, which has made the process highly controllable and commercially reliable?

techniques, as demonstrated in our video (with some features already improved), enable drilling of micro-scale features with far greater control and consistency. Holes can be extremely small, clean, and precise. The process itself avoids physical contact, minimizes thermal effects, and supports a wide range of glass types.

However, even with Workshop of Photonics extensive experience in , which spans over 🔟 years, we still encounter challenging tasks!
