During the meeting, we presented our interim activity report and discussed future plans. Our coordinators and members also took part in a problem-solving workshop led by Gytis Virketis from the VU SR Institutional Strengthening Fund.

🤨 Kyla klausimas, ką veikia studijų programų komitetai, ginčių nagrinėjimo ir akademinės etikos komisijos? Skaityk toliau:
• Studijų programų komitetai rūpinasi studijų programų įgyvendinimu. Remdamiesi dėstytojų bei studentų (-čių) nuomone analizuoja studijų programos įgyvendinimą ir siūlo problemų sprendimo būdus, atnaujina studijų programą, įskaitant studijų tinklelį ir turinį. Į studentų atstovą (-ę) savo studijų programos komitete gali kreiptis, jei turi pasiūlymų, kaip būtų galima pagerinti studijų programos vykdymo kokybę bei kitais studijų programos vykdymo klausimais.
• Ginčų nagrinėjimo komisija nagrinėja skundus dėl galutinio dalyko įvertinimo arba dėl procedūrinių egzaminų pažeidimų. Į ją gali kreiptis, jei nesutinki su egzaminavimo tvarka ir / ar su egzamino (įskaitos) arba koliokviumo įvertinimu.
• Akademinės etikos komisija nagrinėja pareiškimus dėl akademinės bendruomenės narių (dėstytojų, studentų (-čių) ar kitų universiteto darbuotojų) veiksmų, pažeidžiančių akademinę etiką.

🤨 Wondering what the Study Program Committees, Dispute Resolution Commission, and Academic Ethics Commission actually do? Read on:
• Study Program Committees oversee the implementation of study programs. Based on feedback from lecturers and students, they analyze how the program is running, propose solutions to problems and update the study program, including the study grid and content. You can contact the student representative on your Study Program Committee if you have suggestions on how to improve the quality of the program, or regarding other issues related to the program's ex*****on.
• The Dispute Resolution Commission examines complaints regarding final subject grades or procedural violations during exams. You can reach out to this commission if you disagree with the examination procedure and/or the grading of an exam (course credit) or colloquium.
• The Academic Ethics Commission examines reports regarding actions by members of the academic community (lecturers, students, or other university staff) that violate academic ethics.

The most Spooktacular event of the year has passed and we are delighted to share some amazing memories from the evening. 🇱🇹 | Spalio 11 dieną įvyko Vilniaus universiteto Studentų atstovybės Chemijos ir geomokslų fakultete (VU SA CHGF) ir Medicinos fakultete (VU SA MF) narių mokymai.
Mokymų metu dalyviai (-ės) gilino žinias apie Vilniaus universiteto Studentų atstovybę, jos tikslus, Vilniaus universitetą ir jo struktūrą, taip pat aptarė aktualius iššūkius fakultetuose. Su VU SA Centrinio biuro komandos pagalba, nariai (-ės) kėlė savo atstovavimo kompetencijas studentų atstovavimo simuliacijoje ir debatuose apie svarbiausias problemas.

🇬🇧 | On October 11, a training session for members of the Vilnius University Students' Representation at the Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences (VU SA FCHG) and the Faculty of Medicine (VU SA FM) took place.
During the training, participants deepened their knowledge of the Vilnius University Students' Representation and its goals, Vilnius University and its structure, and discussed current challenges within the faculties. With the help of the VU SR Central Office team, members strengthened their representation competencies through a student representation simulation and debates on key issues.

Yesterday was not the end. It is sad to see the weakening of trust in the country's government, the undermining of culture as the foundation of the nation, and the ignoring of the voice of society. We express our concern about the situation and our full solidarity with the cultural community.
‼️ We encourage students to act in accordance with values and civic principles, even if our country's highest leaders no longer uphold such criteria.

During the Conference, the following student representatives were elected:
- Evaldas Kvietkauskas to the VU CHGF Council;
- Goda Bukelytė to the VU SA Parliament.
At the general meeting, new members of VU SA CHGF delved into the activities of various fields and, together with existing members and coordinators, had the opportunity to participate in a simulation!
