👋 Welcome Hasan and Daria who will invest their time to grow and gain valuable research experience during the summer:

👉 Hasan will work with VU BS Junior Assist. Ahmed Kaab Omeir on the project "Climate-Related Disclosures under IFRS S1 and IFRS S2: Economic and Financial Valuation from Listed Financial Institutions".

👉 Daria's project "Climate FinTech: Can Technology Accelerate Green Investment?" will be supervised by VU BS Prof. Dr. Deimantė Vasiliauskaitė.

Funded by the Research Council of Lithuania, the summer internships program enables students to engage in research and present their findings at the Council’s student scientific conference. 🤩🙌

We are happy to support the young researchers and wish both students a productive, inspiring, and discovery-filled summer ahead!

Redefining the Future of Science through Interdisciplinary Excellence 🏆

We are proud to announce that our MODUS project team has received the Vilnius University Rector’s Award 2025 for Significant Research Achievements in the category of Best Interdisciplinary Activity. 👏🥇

Kudos to VU BS Prof. Dr. @‌Saulė Mačiukaitė-Žvinienė, @‌Dr. Mobashar Mubarik, Lect. @‌Jurgita Petrauskienė, and PhD student @‌Robertas Skliaustas, in collaboration with KTU. 👏

The MODUS project "Intelligent Automation as a Structuring Force in Deep Innovation: Institutional Trajectories, Transfer Logic, and Stakeholder Coordination" examines how intelligent automation and AI are reshaping innovation ecosystems and what happens to science when they take over parts of the work.

"Automation is no longer just a tool. It quietly reshapes how we understand innovation in Lithuania, in Europe, globally. In Lithuania, the partnership between science and business is the foundation of our future economy, the foundation of the future economy of the whole of Europe. If we want discoveries to travel from the lab to the market, we need to understand how automation is changing knowledge," – says S. Mačiukaitė-Žvinienė, the leader of the MODUS project.
