1. SHARING MOVEMENT
It is crucial that we continue our professional development outside of the country and share what we have learnt back at home. By increasing the amount and quality of professional workshops for dancers and actors in Lithuania we make our dance and theater scene much more exciting. By sharing our practices and seeing new ide

as performed and explored by other physical performers we become able to evaluate ourselves more accurately and decide how to move forward. The techniques delivered during the seminars expand the performer‘s physical capacities, special and kinespherical awareness, rhythmical understanding of movement. While following not complicated physical sequences and improvising, the performer is guided towards his own particular ways of moving. During the seminars one of the techniques that we present is Iasparra technique (LEM,Argentina). It investigates the body as a tool to create work and is based on 25 yearlong ongoing movement researches by Vivi Iasparra.
2. PERFORMING MOVEMENT
‘Less is more’ approach is applied towards working with movement and the object. No showing off. By focusing on developing a duet between the performer and the object, we leave space for unexpected things to happen. In other words, there will be mistakes made and you will notice them. CREDITS

Time for guided research
The participants will be invited to investigate and dive deeper into their own personal interests and research. They will be encouraged to revisit class material, creative ideas and concepts that were offered to them during the Summer Dance School. We want to provide the Summer School participants with an opportunity to grab and get hold on the ideas and discoveries that became important during the week, make them their own and in that way, once the Summer Dance School is over - the process could still continue. Ula Liagatė will be in the studio with the dancers for the whole time of their research and will provide them with useful tools, tips and possible ways of working personally with the ideas and material and we will then together compose something to share at the end of Summer Dance School.

Ula Liagaitė, born in Lithuania, in 1991, is a 26-year-old dancer, actress and performer. She received her bachelor’s degree as a contemporary dancer at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds. Since 2014 Ula has been training as a performer at a space dedicated to the promotion and development of moving and performing arts called LEM in Buenos Aires, Argentina. And since 2017 she’s part of the La Otra dance company, directed by Viviana Iasparra who is one of the founders of LEM. She started working with her sister Bartė Liagaitė and Video-audio artist Mikas Zabulionis in 2015, for a project Movement to Movement, during which seminars of movement and physical training techniques for actors and dancers were presented as well as a work-in-progress of a performance then named Duet.

DUET No. II
- Yes. It all really starts to make sense from this perspective. We should always have the option of really getting really really getting inside one another. You know what I mean?
- I do. However, I don’t see that happening. From whre I stand – it looks like it can be dangerous even.
- Ay, cmo’n. Then stand closer and don’t be such a coward!
-I’m not a coward. I am careful, which makes me even smart. Smarter than you. Do something – this activity of your is becoming a drag.
-Right. Ok. Let me just.. (changes costume)

DUET + I
‚Duet that happened‘ is performance, where the dialogue happens between sisters, a body (dancer Ula Liagaitė) and the object (scenography created by Bartė Liagaitė). Within the performative space both look for ways of co-existing, which seems like the most honest and clever thing to do. Everything is constantly changing...and is filled with beautiful sounds by Mikas Zabulionis.
