🎉 Skelbiame, kad atranką į rezidenciją Brukline – „The International Studio & Curatorial Program“ (ISCP) – laimėjo videomeno kūrėjas ir fotomenininkas Darius Žiūra.
Į Lietuvos kultūros institutas / Lithuanian Culture Institute ir Šiuolaikiniu meno centro (ŠMC) su padaliniu Sapiegų rūmai organizuojamą rezidenciją jis vyks šių metų rugsėjį–lapkritį.
🟢 Rezidencijos metu menininkas planuoja kurti savo 2004 m. Niujorke nufilmuoto filmo „Can You Give Me Some of Your Time“ tęsinį, kuris leistų naujai pažvelgti į miestą šiandienos istoriniame ir technologiniame kontekste. „Šis tęsinys vaizduotų Niujorką po 22 metų – su kitais žmonėmis, tame pačiame mieste, tačiau jau kitoje epochoje“, – savo sumanymą atskleidė menininkas.
Ši rezidencija yra Lietuvos kultūros instituto Rezidencijų programos dalis.
Atvirą šaukimą ir nugalėtoją rinko Lietuvos kultūros institutas, Šiuolaikinio meno centras, Sapiegų rūmai.

🎉 We are pleased to announce that Darius Žiūra – a video artist and photographer – has been selected for the residency at The International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) in Brooklyn.
He will take part in the residency, organised by the Lietuvos kultūros institutas / Lithuanian Culture Institute and the Contemporary Art Centre (CAC) together with its branch Sapiegų rūmai, from September to November this year.
🟢 During the residency, the artist plans to create a continuation of his film Can You Give Me Some of Your Time, shot in New York in 2004, offering a new perspective on the city in today’s historical and technological context. “This continuation would portray New York after 22 years – with different people, in the same city, but already in another era,” the artist said of his idea.
This residency is part of the Lithuanian Culture Institute’s Residencies Programme.
The open call and the winner selection were organised by the Lithuanian Culture Institute, the Contemporary Art Centre, and Sapieha Palace.
