Here at MB Erasmus praktika we are always striving to find good quality placements for our incoming students! ☺️☺️☺️

But we're 💯 times happier when host companies are equally enthusiatic about sharing their knowledge and experience with young people.

Three hard-working Erasmus students from Maribor 🇸🇮 have performed their 3-week practice in Vilniaus Miesto Parkai - company that takes care of the most beautiful parks in Vilnius 🇱🇹

Future forestry workers 👷👷 had chance to contribute forest-park management 🌳🌲, tree felling and pruning 🪾, while environent technician 👷‍♀️ was learning about park landscape design 🌱, assisting in plant formation and overall park maintenace 🍂 .

Our mentor helped us fill in the gaps in our knowledge for tree felling and we learned about their park management. Both found the experience interesting and educational. ❄️Exactly 3 weeks ago, on a very snowy and windy day these 10 young students and their 2 teachers have landed in Vilnius airport ❄️

🤩Their enthusiasm for gaining practical experience was tested by very cold Lithuanian weather, short daylight and flu 🤒🤧But Slovenian students are known for their persistence 💪, so leaving all the difficulties behind...

.. they have learned plenty new skills, became part of the team and achieved great results at their workplaces: 🌳city park management company, 🩺veterinarian clinic, 🖼️art gallery, 🐕dog hotel, 🏗️civil engineering company, 🛋️furniture producer and 🤖robotics school.

more that that, they used their free time to learn more about 🇱🇹Lithuanian culture, to get lost in Christmas lights🎄and simply enjoy cozy atmosphere at their co-living 🍿.

Today they left Vilnius ✈️looking forward to new experiences and new challenges... 🫶but we want to believe Vilnius will stay in their hearts for long 🥰

This week Erasmus+ coordinators from TŠC Maribor 🇸🇮have visited us in snowy Vilnius 🇱🇹in the framework of a preparatory visit for their students' upcoming Erasmus+ practical training in March 2025.
☕We've discussed company placements, accommodation, transport, catering, cultural activities and much more!
We're working hard to prepare the best experience for the students! To be continued... 😀

6 young Slovenian 🇸🇮students were extremely enthusiastic about their Erasmus+ 🇪🇺mobility and they surely took the maximum out of this experience 💯

👨‍💻Economic technicians shaped their skills in private commercial and non-profit organisations.
👩‍⚕️Nurse assistants learned all aspects of long-term care in a social care institution.
👶Early childhood educator spent quality time with preschoolers at private school.

Today 6 young Vegova Ljubljana students have accomplished their traineeships in Vilnius 🇱🇹. Spending many hours in two different maker spaces they had chance to improve their skills in electronics and programming as well to learn new programming languages, robotics, and soldering.
Have a great trip back to Slovenia 🇸🇮 and many more memorable career flights in your future!
