🌱Still playing the proving game?🤔

Where everything you do has to be impeccable - so you can finally feel worthy of your achievements, your life, your dreams?🥇

Trying to prove that you’re a perfect friend, a great partner, a responsible parent, a dedicated employee… just a good human. 😇

Not because it feels right, but because deep down you’re trying to keep up the image - for others, and for yourself - that you’re enough?

Here’s the thing: it’s a game you can’t win.

Because at some point, you’ll mess up (don’t we all?).

You’ll say the wrong thing at the wrong time - even if you didn’t mean it.🫢
You’ll be late.🫨
You’ll get it right only on the second (or fifth) try.🥵

And all that effort to seem “perfect” crumbles under the truth:
You’re not perfect. You’re human. And that’s more than enough.

A few years ago, my coach asked me something I’ll never forget:

“Giedre, what if the only thing you needed to prove… was that you can live a happy life?”

That question became my anchor. My reminder whenever I slip into that old proving pattern.

So here it is again - just in case you need it today:

Repeat after me - I don’t have to prove anything to anyone. Unless it’s to myself - that I can live a life that makes me happy.

Happy Friday 🤗🫶🌱

🌱“Coaching? That’s not real help. Everyone’s a coach now. You can coach yourself.”

Maybe you’ve had this thought. Maybe you’re thinking it right now. Maybe someone told you so.

It’s easy to tell someone who’s stuck, that change is simple, especially when you’re not the one doing the change. But if it were that easy, we would all be living our ideal lives already.

People need help, support, space – a place to hear themselves differently, see their own thoughts reflected back in ways they never have before, and gain insights they wouldn’t have uncovered alone (or would have taken much longer to find).

That’s the power of coaching.

And I get it – if you’ve been stuck for a while, if you’ve tried things before, it’s natural to wonder: Will this actually help?

Or maybe, deep down, there’s resistance – fear, doubt, and excuses that keep you from stepping into the work real change requires.

Here’s what coaching ISN’T: it’s not about being handed answers on a silver platter, getting advice, or being told how to live your life.

Here’s what IT IS: finding your own unique way forward – with a coach who helps you see the blind spots, break patterns, and create real shifts in your mindset, habits, job, confidence... whatever’s keeping you stuck.

Others are quieter but just as powerful – finally breathing again, ending your day without that weight in your chest, feeling like yourself for the first time in ages.

So no, I won’t hand you the answers. But I will help you find the ones that actually work for you – and that’s where real transformation happens.

And one day, after showing up for yourself, making small changes, and taking steps that once felt impossible, you’ll wake up and realize – something is different. You’re different.

And that future you once doubted? You’re already living it.

For some, the shift happens within a few sessions. For others, it takes 10 or more. But if you’re ready to do the work, coaching brings results.

Some results are obvious – landing that new job, moving to a new city, finally saying yes (or no) to something big.

Think it’s time to take that first step? Reach out for a free mini coaching session–let’s explore how I can help.

🌱Are you the one who’s always “doing” things? Constantly improving something - your home, work, relationships… and, of course, yourself? 🤔

Always looking at the horizon, chasing perfection like it’s just behind the sunset? 🌆

And how has it been so far – have you reached a point when there was NOTHING else to do? Unlikely. Because there is ALWAYS something more to do, if you choose to.

But here’s the trick: while your eyes are always on that horizon, satisfaction becomes a rare guest, and dissatisfaction and burnout might be the frequent visitors. 🫥

And while you are busy measuring what’s still left to be done, you’re more likely to overlook how far you’ve come. 🚸

Maybe the perfection isn’t what’s behind the sunset, but the sunset itself?🌅

If you would only give yourself a moment to reflect:

🌱You, a year ago - and now.
🌱Your professional skills at that first job - and now.
🌱You and your [insert something you’ve done more than once] - now and back then.

How would you feel? What would your younger self think about the progress you’ve made?

If your answer is “not much”, double - check to see if you are listening to the you now – or the you from behind the sunset?

You, then – and you now? How does it feel? Do you feel proud? I’m sure if you look closely, you will find it. 🕵️

To keep moving forward, it’s important to recognize how far you’ve come.

When I look at myself, then and now, I see many things I am proud of (some of them noticed quite late to be enjoyed at the time).

And you? Let me know in the comments! 👇🙂🌱

🌱Well, hello, Monday. Again.😮‍💨

Does it feeling like a fresh start, or are you already exhausted 😩just because the calendar says Monday?

How long has this feeling been following you? A week? A month? A few years?🤔

Every Friday, you tell yourself: “Next week, I’ll take action. I’ll start changing things”.
But then Monday comes, and instead of changing, you’re just trying to get through the day. 🫥

Responsibilities take over, energy runs low, and suddenly it’s “maybe next week” all over again.

This cycle – promising change, waiting for the “right time”, and then doing nothing (or nothing DIFFERENTLY) – is dangerous. ⚠️

It doesn’t just keep you stuck. It slowly convinces you that change isn’t possible until you stop even thinking about trying.

And that? That’s the surest way to stay stuck and accept unhappiness as your norm. 😶‍🌫️

How do you break the cycle❓

Start by getting real with yourself:

❓What exactly feels off? How long have I felt this way?

❓What is one thing I already know I need to do but keep avoiding? Updating my CV? Signing up for that dance class? Having that hard conversation?

❓What’s actually stopping me? Fear? Doubt? Waiting for motivation? Frustration that others aren’t changing – so why should I?

Now, ask yourself this:

Do I want to take the risk of change, or keep choosing the discomfort of staying the same?🤔

Because let’s be honest – staying stuck isn’t as “safe” as it seems. It’s just as uncomfortable as change might be. So why not give change a try?💡

Whichever you choose – own it. The first step 🚶‍♀️ towards change can start now, no need to wait for next week. ⏳

As soon as you decide to take action you’ve been putting off – or choose to let the frustration go –you’re already one step ahead of where you were yesterday.

And if one thing you’ve been considering is getting support to finally make a move, book a free intro call (mini coaching session) to explore how coaching can help. ✨🙂Link in bio.🌱

🌱Your Inner CEO is a demanding boss. 👩‍⚖️No breaks, no rest days, no vacations – just one more task, one more project, one more responsibility… and then, finally, you’ll take a breather… right?😮‍💨

Except…that moment never seems to come.

Days turn into weeks, weeks into months, and your to-do list just keeps growing. 🗓️

And now? You are exhausted, irritated, and secretly resenting everything you once enjoyed. Life feels like one big checklist, and you’re running on empty, just bulldozing through it all. 🚜

But wait – who put you on this never-ending shift?🤔

Who keeps stamping DECLINED every time you even think about slowing down?🤔

Oh right…IT’S YOU.😲

If your Inner CEO is all work, work, work, then deep inside, there’s also a very tired, overworked employee just waiting for a break.😩

The one who dreams of slow mornings, laughter, and living – rather than just getting things done.

What if that overworked employee submitted a formal request for time off?

🌱What would they say?
🌱What would they want to ask?
🌱What arguments would they give?
🌱Do you think your inner CEO would listen?

If the answer is NO – ask yourself:
Why not❓What’s missing❓And if not this time (again), then when will you truly deserve a break❓

Rather than silencing parts of yourself, let them talk. Let them argue. Hear them out. Because if you’re going to deny yourself another request, at least know what you’re saying no to – and why.

And if you need help having this conversation, coaching might be just what you need. 👌Reach out to me and let’s discuss how we can work it all out. 🙂🌱

🌱On paper, your life looks great. ✨You’ve worked hard to get where you are now. Some would call it a success.

✅A job that pays well – maybe even one you once only dreamed of.
✅ Friends, activities, and a balanced life.
✅ The ability to enjoy things you once couldn’t afford – nice dinners, a home you love, a trip, or something special just to spoil yourself.

Yes, you check all the “normal life” boxes.
And yet… something feels o f f.
A quiet sadness lingers. Your soul feels restless.

Deep down, you k n o w there must be something m o r e – even if you can’t quite put your finger on it yet.👇

But it’s terrifying to admit that the life you worked so hard to create doesn’t fully make you happy. 😶‍🌫️

The finish line you thought would bring bliss? Turns out, it was just an illusion.

Maybe you didn’t notice when your desires shifted, and you just kept rolling down the same old path out of habit – while your soul whispered long ago that it was time for a change.

Or maybe you never truly chose this life – just followed the “right” steps someone else laid out.

And now, life looks good on paper, but it doesn’t feel good inside.

How do you find happiness again when things feel off?

🌱First, let yourself admit it. It’s okay if things don’t feel right, even when they “should.” Denying it won’t make it go away.

🌱Stop brushing it off. That unsettled feeling? It’s not the enemy. It’s a message – something in you is ready for change.

🌱Ask yourself: If nothing were holding me back – no time, no money, no expectations – what would I actually want or do now?

🌱Try something different, even if it’s small. Change your routine. Take a class. Have an uncomfortable conversation. Break the autopilot.

🌱Get support. Clarity doesn’t come from denying or overthinking – it comes from action, reflection and the right guidance. That’s where coaching can help.

If you’re tired of feeling stuck in that “off” feeling and need someone to help you figure out the next step - let’s talk. 🙂 Book a free intro session on www.myliumondays.com!

Because you don’t have to settle for a life that only looks good on paper.
You deserve one that feels good, too. 🫶🌱

🌱You’re ALMOST ready, aren’t you?

So close – you can a l m o s t taste it. The day you’ll finally feel 💯% confident, and then the fear will just disappear. Then, you’ll finally do it.

🚣Just a few more months at that soul-sucking job to save a bit more, and you’ll be ready to leave.

👩‍🏫 One more course, one more skill, and you’ll finally feel q u a l i f i e d enough to start.

🕵️A few more pieces of advice, and you’ll finally do what you’ve know for months you need to do.

Just a few more steps, and then, the brave, unstoppable version of you will rise and conquer. You’ve been feeling it for months – it’s so close, you can almost touch it…

But wait.
Isn’t that what you’ve been telling yourself for m o n t h s? That o n e m o r e step and the fear will vanish, and you’ll f i n a l l y be ready to take action?🤔

What if I told you, you might never be as ready as you want to be?

Scary,isn’t it?😨

I used to think the same – that fear would eventually pass, that s o o n I’d be ready, and then I could finally do what I’d been dreaming about.🤩

But guess what?

That i l l u s i o n led me down many paths, but none of them led me to the destination I truly wanted. And every time, I found myself right back where I started, avoiding the one thing I r e a l l y needed to do.

Over time, I realized something: fear doesn’t always go away.

It follows you into every new beginning, every change, every brave decision. And that’s not a bad thing – fear is a sign.🪧It means you’re about to do something important. 👆

That step I feared the most? The one that felt like it would flip my world upside down? 🙃

It turned out to be just the f i r s t of a hundred steps I needed to take to get where I wanted to be. 😮‍💨

And here’s the wake-up call: if I kept preparing for each step like I did for the first (months and months sometimes)...The hundredth step? I might never even have time to take it.

So, I made a decision: Stop waiting to be fully ready.Do it half-ready and scared. 🙈🏃‍♀️

I remind myself often: Fear shows I’m about to do something brave. So,why delay bravery?🦸‍♀️

What’s something brave you are about to do? I’d love to hear it!🤗🌱

🌱I hear this a lot in my sessions: “I don’t even know what I want anymore” or “I don’t know who I am.”

Do you ever feel like something has taken your joy, and no matter what you try, it feels like happiness is nowhere to be found?🕵️

Well, if we dig a little deeper (like we do in sessions), you might be in for a surprising discovery: the thief isn’t some invisible force outside you – it might actually be You. 😮

You’ve been quietly robbing yourself of joy, while looking outside for someone or something to blame - often pointing to your job, partner, childhood.

How did you become the thief of your own happiness❓

It doesn’t happen overnight. It happens one small robbery at a time, until one day you realize your joy is gone. Here’s how it works:

🙅‍♀️You want to buy that bold red lipstick and wear it proudly, but you’ve never done it before. It feels wrong. What will people think? So, you pick that neutral shade again and leave feeling unsatisfied because it’s dull, boring, and lacks the spark YOU wanted.

🙅‍♀️You crave a weekend to do absolutely nothing, but your mind whispers, “Everyone’s doing something productive. I should, too.” So, you fill your weekend with plans and end up drained, with no real rest, not like YOU wanted.

🙅‍♀️You want to say “No” to an invitation because you don’t feel like going, but the fear creeps in: “What if they stop inviting me?” So, you go anyway. You feel drained and keep saying yes to things others want, not what YOU want.

🙅‍♀️You want to read that cheesy, romantic novel, but you’re the one who always reads “smart” books. You think admitting to a guilty pleasure would make you seem “shallow.” So, you don’t read anything at all, because “smart” books aren’t what YOU truly want today.

And then, little by little...🥀

You keep choosing what others might want or what’s “acceptable,” instead of what you truly desire. You’ve become the thief with no prize – happiness. 🫥

You haven’t forgotten what makes you happy, you’ve just stopped allowing yourself to be happy.

P.S. Want to change that?

🌱You open social media on a bad day – and boom – it feels like everyone else is living while you’re just… existing.

Everyone’s weekend is fun. Everyone is out there doing something. Meanwhile, you’re sitting on your couch, scrolling, watching them live.👀

Never mind that yesterday – or for years – you’ve been out there too. Exploring, learning, achieving, pushing forward. 🚴‍♀️Yet somehow, all of that disappears in a single moment of stillness. Suddenly, you feel like you’re failing at life.

Because the plan to p e r f e c t life didn’t work. And now? Now you’re angry with yourself – and with those enjoying life – because your life feels so imperfect in every way (or so it seems).😞

But… do you? Really? Need to? Perfect life? All. The. Time?🧐

What if what you’re missing isn’t another achievement, but the ability to just sit with life as it is?🧘‍♀️

Instead of pushing, try this:

🌱Instead of asking “Am I doing enough?” – ask “Am I actually enjoying what I’m doing?”
🌱When the thoughts comes “My life is total misery. I need to do something” ask instead “What is it about their life that seems appealing to me? How can I create or bring that feeling into my own life?”
🌱When the pressure to keep going kicks in, pause and ask: “What am I afraid will happen if I stop?”
🌱Instead of planning the next big thing, try noticing the tiny moments: the way your coffee smells, the warmth of your blanket, the sound of rain outside.

Because perfect lives don’t exist. But a life where you pause long enough to feel it? That might just be the perfection in the moment you’ve been searching for.🤗

P.S. If you’d like support in finding that perfection in the moment, reach out for a coaching session. Let’s explore it together: https://myliumondays.com/en/contacts

🌱We hustle through the week – busy, busy, busy. Some people spend their days ticking off duties they need to do, others on things they want to do. And then, some… well, they just go through the motions, not even noticing which tasks fill their days.

But if you hit pause and replay your week – Monday to Friday – what made you feel ALIVE?🤩

What sparked that inner light? Did you catch those moments when they happened, or did they slip by unnoticed?

I recently heard a phrase on a podcast that made me think:

“How you do anything is how you do everything.”

This suggests, that the smallest moments matter – how you brush your teeth, take a shower, drink your first coffee. If you rush through them on autopilot, what does that say about the rest of your day?

Do you remember the smell of your shower gel? 🛀Did you actually enjoy that coffee ☕️,or don’t even recall drinking it?🤔

Did you find even a single moment that made your heart beat faster, made you smile 🤗, or just feel alive?

Because how we spend our days is how we spend our lives.

And if you’re not feeling alive today, then when?

Take a moment to reflect – what made you feel alive this week?

Everything that comes up – do more of it! 🥳And if nothing pops up, there are still two days of this week left. Make them count.🫶🌱🤗

🌱Ever caught yourself saying,”Life just isn’t fair” or “If only THEY would change, then I’d be good”? We all know the story – my job’s awful, my partner’s self-absorbed, my family doesn’t get me, my friends are too busy… You name it.

Sprinkle in some self-pity over all the bad experiences, past traumas, and people who’ve let you down, and bam – now you’ve got a solid list of reasons to stay stuck in misery. After all, it’s all out there that MAKES you feel this way.

Everyone owes you. Others are just luckier – why couldn’t it be you?And now, you’re stuck because... Well, it’s not your fault, is it?

Maybe part of it is true – most likely you’ve been through some tough times and experienced suffering. But do you really want to keep writing it down as an excuse rather than choosing to empower those experiences, turning them into strengths, bravery, and courage you need to make a change?

We get so trapped in blaming and expecting from others, repeating that “I can’t” record in our heads instead of trying. Sometimes it feels easier to stay where we are than face the discomfort of change, but then rather than admitting that “It’s my choice”, we keep blaming everyone around and keep waiting for salvation.

In my sessions, I sometimes ask: What would need to happen for you to take action? And I’ve heard clients say some eye-opening things:

“I’d start caring about my health if…I got diagnosed with cancer.”

“If my partner left me, then maybe I’d finally take control of my life.”

“If I got fired, maybe then I’d have the courage to do what I really love.”

The clients usually don’t want any of the above, but they admit that that’s the push that comes to their mind when thinking about change.

It’s wild how much we wait for something outside ourselves to push us into responsibility, rather than choosing to take action now. We somehow want the universe to send a wake-up call.

So, the big question: What would it take for YOU to take ownership of the areas of your life that don’t satisfy you and start acting without waiting for someone to come and save you?

It doesn’t have to be a crisis to create change. It’s just you deciding that you are taking responsibility.🌱
