In order to spread the project activities among the parents, we organized two events for the parents of Tallinn Kindergarten in the spring of 2022.
The first event took place on April 26 and the second event on June 16. At both events we had prepared different activity centers with digital and robotic tools. Children got to show their parents how they use these tools in kindergarten.
In each activity center there was a task to complete. Teacher guided parents and children to follow the task. Also teachers shared information about digital and robotic tools and how they benefit in children competences.

Christmas is coming. Tallinn Kindergarten Pääsusilm kids played a game where Jussike (a boy from children story) wanted to visit Santa.
The task was to drive the Jussike to Santa avoiding trees.

Children ages 4 to 5 from Galjevica kindergarten got to know different fruits and vegetables, then made a tree diagram. They programmed a robot to come up to a picture of a fruit or vegetable in the grid, that the children had previously drawn from a pile. During this process they also had to classify, name, and describe each picture. It was lots of fun!

„Ut på tur aldri sur“
That´s a popular Norwegian expression, that we learned during our last LTT.
We use the same expression in Estonia: „pole halba ilma, on ainult vale riietus“. So the snow, sleet and the rain did not stop us from having outdoor acitivities with new robots and robotic tools. 6 groups had the oppurtunity to make first attempts controlling Sphero Bolts and rugged robots, using TTS wireless microscopes and for warming up they had some no-device coding.
