What can be said that we already didn’t say in our last post about the teams of the camps?🤔
Today, you can marvel at the teams of Plungė with all of their participants, leaders, and volunteers.
Before these photos were taken, the teams were sitting in their daily morning meeting to discuss the plans of today.
After the photo, they gathered to discuss the experiences of today and share their emotions. 😇

🤠 Little cowboys in action! 🤠

This camp, our campers stepped into the Wild West and learned how to throw a lasso like real cowboys! 🎯🐎

With a little practice, lots of focus, and plenty of laughs, they worked on their coordination and new skills while having an unforgettable time.

This year’s camp was filled with special moments. The participants shared these experiences within their own teams. ☺️

The teams were an important part of camp life: Sharing your feelings with others, reflecting about the day and playing entertaining games.
The teams were part of the participant’s identity and that is why we want to show off this integral part of camp in this post.

Don’t worry: The teams of Plungė will be presented next Friday.😉

This year's camp was an unforgettable journey of learning, teamwork, and adventure for the Plungė Trackers! 🌟🏕️

Throughout the camp, the participants challenged themselves in the Chaos Game, where teamwork, communication, and problem-solving played a key role. They also explored Turkish culture by discovering traditional Turkish carpet motifs and learning Turkish folk dances, making cultural exchange both fun and meaningful.

The cowboy-themed activity gave them the opportunity to try catching a horse with a rope, while the comic book workshop inspired them to transform their ideas into creative stories and illustrations.

By communicating in English with leaders from different countries, the children strengthened their language skills, built confidence, and broadened their understanding of different cultures.

We are proud of the Plungė Trackers for their enthusiasm, creativity, and team spirit throughout the camp. We hope they take home wonderful memories, new experiences, and friendships that will last for years to come! 💙🌍

In this year’s camp, the participants from Rietavas and Plungė explored, as part of a workshop, the realm of German fairy tales and legends. A treasure hunt led them through multiple fun mini-games, in which they encountered figures of German mythology.
During this adventure, the children not only heard famous stories from Germany but also learned about German culture and geography.
This workshop was filled with meaningful cultural exchange such as fun physical activities.🫶

Throughout this year's camp, the Rietavas Tracker team took part in a variety of fun and educational activities, creating unforgettable memories! 🌟🏕️

The participants strengthened their teamwork and cooperation during the Chaos Game, discovered traditional Turkish carpet motifs, and learned Turkish folk dances, experiencing a new culture in an engaging way. 🇩🇪 Meet our new volunteer Leon from Germany!

For 12 months, Leon will be a contributing part of the team of Lizdelis and the community of Rietavas.

Leon is keen to explore Lithuanian culture and language, while creating a great environment for the participants to learn in. This is an important opportunity to grow both professionally and personally - not only being a teaching assistant, but also learning from the country and its people.

We are sure that Leon will return to Germany with long-lasting memories, creative fulfillment and meaningful connections.
Let’s accompany him through his journey and make him feel like home!
