Study Days in Lithuania: Become an Ambassador of Higher Education!

Training session will take place on the 13th-14th of April, 2012 in the homestead "Vienkiemis", Kretinga region, Padvarių village (distance ~2 km from Kretinga).
This training session is exclusively designed for foreign students currently studying in Lithuania’s higher education institutions. Two-day session will consist of lectures from prominent experts of higher education, culture and marketing as well as interactive workshops.

The event (including meal and accommodation in the hotel) is FREE OF CHARGE. The certificates of attendance will be provided to all participants.

Participants will be transfered to the venue place by buses. Time and place of departing will be announced to the participants by emails.

UZGAVENES!!! or Shrove Tuesday festival
Uzgavenes is a traditional Lithuanian festival which includes wearing masks and costumes, overturning social conventions, dancing, sports competitions, parades, etc. If you want to feel all of it and taste traditional pancakes that is a must part of the festival, you can do it on February 19th (Sunday) at 2p.m. in Klaipeda Old Town (Darzu str. 10 and Vezeju str. 4).

Don't forget to take your mask and good mood!

S.O.S. indai!

Mieli "Buddy team" komandos nariai, Erasmus studentams, kurie šiuo metu gyvena reikalingi indai (lekštės, puodeliai, įrankiai ir pan.). Jei kartais turite jums nereikalingų, atliekamų, nenaudojamų indų, jie užima per daug vietos, norite juos išmesti ... galite pasidalinti, atiduoti arba tiesiog kuriam laikui paskolinti atvykusiems Erasmus studentams.

February 16th - Lithuanian Independence Day!
On February 16th at 4pm. Klaipeda citizens and guests are invited to listen to a concert and celebrate Lithuanian Independence Day in Klaipeda Svyturio Arena (Dubysos str. 10). Entrance to the event is for free; however, you have to take invitations in advance. The invitations can be taken any time on February 1st-6th in Svyturio Arena ticket offices or bilietai.lt ticket offices (Akropolis, Taikos str. 61).
