📢 UNINOVIS Staff Development BIP Week
9–13 March 2026 | Tampere, Finland

UNINOVIS is delighted to announce the Staff Development BIP Week, hosted by Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK).

This international programme brings together colleagues from across the UNINOVIS alliance to strengthen collaboration, exchange expertise, and shape our shared future in European higher education.

✨ What to expect
The week combines an online kick-off session with an intensive in-person programme in Tampere and focuses on key strategic themes:

General themes
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) – integrating emerging technologies into learning, collaboration & support services
• Micro-credentials – flexible learning models and recognition across institutions
• Excellence Hubs – collaboration on education, research & innovation

Track-based discussions
• COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) – joint course development, virtual exchange & international engagement
• RDI (Research, Development & Innovation) – shared projects, ecosystems & funding pathways
The preliminary overarching theme for the on-site week is the use of AI in teaching and higher education practices.

The Universidad de Málaga is hosting the UNINOVIS International Conference on January 26–27, 2026 in Málaga, Spain.

Researchers, innovators, and practitioners are invited to submit their work.

Theme 2026: Applied data science in higher education and industry, with a strong focus on collaboration between universities and SMEs.

Topics include:
• ecosystems — quadruple helix, citizen science, and cross-sector partnerships
• for applied data science — data collection, processing, visualization, ethics
• & — transforming academic work into socio-economic impact

📢 Stepping into : Be Part of the Hybrid Workshop Experience!

On 30 January 2026 at 09:00 (UTC +2), aUPaEU will organise the hybrid workshop “Stepping into Agora: a discussion with co-creators, lead users and policy experts.”

The workshop will introduce the Agora platform, a collaborative digital environment supporting innovation, capacity building and institutional transformation across European universities.

Participants will explore:
- The concept and development of Agora
- Use cases and insights from co-creators and lead users
- Integration with the UNINOVIS Research Portfolio
