🇱🇹 Lietuvos sveikatos mokslų universiteto Studentų atstovybė (toliau – LSMU SA), atstovaudama Universiteto studentams, teikia poziciją dėl saugios ir pagarbios akademinės aplinkos užtikrinimo.
LSMU SA veikia gindama visų studentų teisę į saugią, pagarbią ir įtraukią akademinę aplinką bei užtikrindama, kad Universitete būtų laikomasi akademinės etikos ir atsakingo komunikavimo principų.
Principinės nuostatos:
LSMU SA akcentuoja, kad dėmesys studentų teisėms grindžiamas humanistinėmis vertybėmis bei pagarba žmogaus teisėms.
LSMU SA laikosi principo, kad visi studentai, nepriklausomai nuo jų tautinės, etninės ar religinės kilmės bei politinių pažiūrų, turi teisę į saugų, įtraukiantį ir prieinamą aukštąjį mokslą.
LSMU SA pabrėžia, kad bet kokios diskriminacijos, neapykantos ar stereotipų apraiškos akademinėje bendruomenėje yra netoleruotinos.
LSMU SA pažymi, kad studentai turi jaustis saugūs nepriklausomai nuo jų kilmės, įsitikinimų ar pažiūrų. Studentų akademinė laisvė ir teisė į taikią saviraišką yra esminė demokratinės akademinės bendruomenės dalis. Studentai turi turėti galimybę atsakingai reikšti savo nuomonę ir dalyvauti viešajame diskurse, laikydamiesi akademinės etikos principų.
LSMU SA smerkia bet kokią smurto ar diskriminacijos formą akademinėje bendruomenėje. Taip pat LSMU SA įsipareigoja ginti studentų akademinę ir saviraiškos laisvę, laikantis atsakingo ir etiško komunikavimo principų. Raginame akademinę bendruomenę spręsti jautrius klausimus per atvirą dialogą, siekiant išlaikyti konstruktyvią ir pagarba grįstą studijų aplinką visiems. Akcentuojame, kad Universitetas turi išlikti erdve, kurioje užtikrinama pagarba žmogaus teisėms, studentų saugumas ir galimybė laisvai ir atsakingai reikšti savo nuomonę, nepažeidžiant kitų asmenų teisių.
🇬🇧 The Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Student Representation (hereinafter – LSMU SA), representing the student body, presents its position on ensuring a safe and respectful academic environment.
LSMU SA operates by defending the right of all students to a safe, respectful, and inclusive academic environment and by ensuring that the principles of academic ethics and responsible communication are upheld within the University.
Key Principles:
LSMU SA emphasizes that attention to student rights is grounded in humanistic values and respect for human rights.
LSMU SA adheres to the principle that all students, regardless of their national, ethnic, or religious background or political views, have the right to safe, inclusive, and accessible higher education.
LSMU SA stresses that any forms of discrimination, hate, or stereotyping within the academic community are unacceptable and cannot be tolerated at the University.
LSMU SA notes that students must feel safe regardless of their background, beliefs, or views. Academic freedom and the right to peaceful self-expression are essential elements of a democratic academic community. Students must have the opportunity to express their opinions responsibly and participate in public discourse while adhering to the principles of academic ethics.
LSMU SA condemns any form of violence or discrimination within the academic community. LSMU SA also commits to defending students’ academic freedom and freedom of expression while adhering to the principles of responsible and ethical communication. We encourage the academic community to address sensitive issues through open dialogue in order to maintain a constructive and respectful study environment for all. We emphasize that the University must remain a space where respect for human rights, student safety, and the ability to freely and responsibly express one’s views, without infringing on the rights of others - are ensured.
