37 guests from 13 countries participated in interactive workshops, open lectures, had the opportunity to get acquainted with the faculties, participated in cultural activities, and excursions 🌍

Yurii Broslavskyi, a student from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in Ukraine studied under Erasmus+ exchange programme at Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution. 😎🇺🇦

This is how Yurii describes his semester in Lithuania:

“It was a pleasure spending my autumn semester at Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution in the Information Systems Technology programme. 💻

Living in the dormitory was a real game-changer for me. It opened up a whole new world where I was surrounded by students from different backgrounds, each with their own unique habits and traditions. I really enjoyed the time we spent together—whether going on trips or simply exploring the history and sights of Šiauliai with friends. 🏕️

The Erasmus+ coordinators and teachers were very friendly and always ready to help. The institution even offered a dedicated Erasmus+ area where I could easily connect and spend time with other international and local students.🤗

I significantly improved my English skills during this experience and would definitely recommend the Erasmus+ programme at Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution to others!”🤩

Mindaugas, a student of the Construction study programme, has completed her Erasmus+ internship in Sweden! 👷🇸🇪

"An international working environment allowed me to get to know different cultures, working styles, and approaches. All of this helped me grow not only as a professional but also as a person. My second Erasmus+ internship at the construction company "Lindström" was a particularly valuable and meaningful experience. It enabled me not only to deepen my existing knowledge but also to acquire new competencies, strengthen my self-confidence, and define my future career direction in the field of construction engineering more clearly,” says Mindaugas. 😊

Žana, a student of the Construction study programme, has completed her Erasmus+ internship in Sweden! 👷‍♀️🇸🇪

“I can confidently say that this internship provided an opportunity to further strengthen my professional competences, gain more practical skills, observe processes in real-life situations, and deepen my understanding of construction and geotechnical work processes and their implementation. This experience will be valuable for preparing my final thesis, and the new professional connections I made will be beneficial for my future career,” says Žana. 😊

Dominykas, a student of the Construction study programme, has completed his Erasmus+ internship in Norway! 👷🇳🇴

“This experience allowed me not only to deepen my professional knowledge but also to gain a better understanding of work organisation principles in a foreign company. I am glad to have had the opportunity to take part in the Erasmus+ programme once again and complete an internship abroad. I recommend that all students do not miss this opportunity, as it is a valuable experience that broadens one’s horizons,” says Dominykas. 😎

Alexander, a student of the Construction study programme, has completed his Erasmus+ internship in Germany! 👷🇩🇪

“I spent most of my time at construction sites, and we discussed work progress and plans at the company office. It was a great opportunity to challenge myself and apply my knowledge in practice. The second stage of the internship allowed me to become even more actively involved in the management of construction processes,” says Alexander. 😊
