The institute's main agenda involves advocacy, community capacity development and education on Climate Change, Poverty and Sustainable Development Goals.

The Lesotho Institute for Climate Change, Poverty and Sustainable Development was founded in November 2011. It was formerly known as JVE International with main focus on youth participation in decision making as main agenda.
