The ASAPA2024 (Association for Southern African Professional Archaeologists) conference was held successfully in the Kingdom of Lesotho. Our students, René Sielemann , Emma Cleminson and
Liteboho Senyane and Dr Bongekile Zwane represented the institute very well through conference presentations and student engagements. Many thanks to the National University of Lesotho for hosting this incredible opportunity for archaeologists to network.

Just when you thought we were only digging ancient artefacts...we uncovered some epic dance moves at the conference dinner!!!
Thanks for the laughs, memories and new friendships. Until next time, keep on digging (and dancing). But seriously, a huge thank you to our amazing organisers for putting together an unforgettable conference experience, including those fantastic excursions in the mountain kingdom of Lesotho!
