Lesotho Opportunities Industrialization Centre(LOIC) demonstrated various artisan skills at Sethala launch programme which was held at Manthabiseng Convention Centre on the 28 April 2021.

Sethala launch' s programme was facilitated by Ministry of Small Business Development, Cooperatives and Marketing for access to finance and market for MSMES and cooperatives.

The objective of this event which was attended by dozens of Basotho business entrepreneurs was to establish continuous, sustainable, competitive and conductive business environment for MSMES and cooperatives through dialogues for economic growth and elimination of gender equality in business ecosystem.

LOIC bids farewell to its former Senior Electrical Instructor.

Lesotho Opportunities Industrialisation Centre (LOIC) on March 19, 2021 bid farewell to one of its Senior staffers _ Mr. Tokiso Toi who left the institution for greener pastures.

Mr. Toi who was LOIC's Electrical Senior Instructor was given a Mokorotlo hat as a farewell present by his colleagues who were evidently disenchanted to see him go.

The reason was simple, the multi_skilled as well as electrical and solar installation technician only assumed his duties at LOIC in February 2018, hence, all felt he left way too soon.

In his farewell speech, Mr. Toi who is also a former employee at Lesotho Electricity Company, Total Solar Solutions and Solar Hart Engineering acknowledged the warm hospitality he enjoyed at LOIC.

He said a person's growth is identified through the good work relations such an individual has with other people.

He explained how he obtained sound impartation of skills to other people prowess from the institution and achieved tremendously within his brief stint at the centre.

On behalf of LOIC's staff, Ms. Tsooatsana Kale indicated that Mr. Toi had all the prerequisites of integrity and hardworking employee, adding that he was always doing his job quite very well without close supervision.

LOIC's Acting Executive Director Mr. Kokolia Ramabele wished Mr. Toi good luck for his future endeavours.
