🌍✨ **CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE: SEBUENG SETSABI TAKES ON KENYA! 🇱🇸🇰🇪**
We are proud to celebrate **Sebueng Setsabi**, one of our exceptional learners, who had the incredible opportunity to travel to **Kenya in July 2026** for a 1-week international learning experience under the **Law Leadership programme with Yale Young African Scholars (YAAS)**. 🎓🌍
This was far more than a trip—it was an opportunity for learning, leadership, cultural exchange, innovation and personal growth.
During the 1-week programme, Sebueng joined young scholars from different countries and backgrounds, participating in seminars, research activities, leadership sessions and collaborative projects. She was challenged to examine real-world problems affecting African communities and work with other young people to develop innovative and practical solutions.
One of the highlights was **Design for Impact (D4I)**, where scholars researched social challenges, developed solutions and presented their ideas. The programme also exposed her to **technology, artificial intelligence, corporate engagement, university opportunities, career guidance and entrepreneurship**. 💡💻
Beyond academics, Sebueng had the opportunity to interact with young people from different countries, learn about different cultures, participate in cultural activities and talent events, and build friendships and networks that extend beyond the programme.
The experience strengthened valuable skills such as **leadership, teamwork, communication, research, critical thinking, problem-solving, public speaking and innovation**.
As a school, we are especially proud that Sebueng had the opportunity to represent **St. Catherine’s High School** on an international platform. Her experience demonstrates the importance of giving young people opportunities to discover their potential, engage with global challenges and develop the confidence to become future leaders.
