From the office of HR Manager - Mathe Candles Production

Greetings, everyone!

"When youths have jobs to do, they won't have drugs and crimes to do!"

My name is Sesiu Sesiu, the HR manager at Mathe Candles Production.

Unemployment, with its injustice for the man who seeks and thirsts for employment, who begs for labour and cannot get it, and who is punished for failure he is not responsible for by the starvation of his children – that torture is something that private enterprise ought to remedy for its own sake.

Unemployment is not the situation to blame your fate or on others… It’s time to believe in yourself and Unveil-New-Employment.

Very unfortunately, very few governments think about youth unemployment when they are drawing up their national plans.

Today, I just wanted to take this opportunity, on behalf of Mathe Candle Production staff, more particularly the Project manager, Mr Lehlohonolo Mathe, to let everyone that, we are here to help out our fellow young people to implement their ideas. As the pictures below state, Mathe Candle Production is the project that decorates with candles in almost every occasion, and also produces the candles for household usage.

It is in great faith to mention the fact that there were several candles that were donated to the needy families as they tended to use them regularly!

We are recruiting the youths with the aim of changing the localities!

For more info, please contact, +266 5767 1269, or go to "Mathe Candle Production" page, or "Lehlohonolo Mathe NUL SU Updates!"

Stay blessed!

With love

NUL is turning to be a joke!

Revolutionary greetings, dear family

Today, I took the initiative to consult NMDS relevant officers concerning the pending payments. I was then informed that, from the time they did not disburse those payments is due to the fact that they did not have money to can make those payments. Please note, my dear family, willing to take a trip to NMDS together with those who still have pending payments, to pursue the matters behind the burning issue. Surely, we shall be leaving by 09:30am and we are all expected to meet at the main gate at 08:30am, as of tomorrow, on Friday.

Ha re tsoeng re lebetse baesong!

Warm regards
Lehlohono Mathe

*VOSU members are a politically woke people because they read*

The Voice Of the Students Union movement is a *political movement* committed to the grooming of outstanding leaders and delivering competent and transparent governance.
The first aim, in achieving it a less direct approach is taken, allowing people the ability to learn as is done so that each person independently learns, allowing all lessons obtained to stick in one's mind, now and into the future.
The second one is achieved through voting processes where members will elect their leaders, who they know and can always call to order whenever they encounter unpleasant experiences.

I am writing this because some members do not understand what VOSU is, what exactly it hopes to achieve and how it plans on going about that.

VOSU members are politically "woke" people. And such people understand the importance of elections and taking part in those.
This movement is *not* a *Makateng Students Updates* page or group.

It is paramount that as a VOSU member you read, communicate your grievances and most importantly understand that we're in a political movement.

So as a member, it is your duty to *vote* and help *campaign*, and it is your right to always be *heard* and to *govern* through your leaders, chosen by you.

The most notable pillar of leadership is respect for the led. Without respect for the governed, a leader is demoted to a tyrant, the Gordian knot of truth and justice. Without truth there is no development and without justice there is no peace. Any people that has no future and has no peace is bound to be conquered. This value of leadership, respect for the governed, is of insurmountable importance to any organization or group that aims to not have its freedoms infringed upon but desires development, peace and security.
That is why I support VOSU, a home of great leaders that works to produce a smart and charismatic generation of leaders with an unrivalled moral compass and an even greater thirst for truth and justice.

This is why VOSU is the greatest.

*The health of the nation, belongs to us all*

The country is plagued by a notably heinous virus that has claimed many lives both at home and internationally(with the global death count nearing 2 million). VOSU is, as I always reiterate, a home of great leaders. A great leader first understands that her/his actions don't only affect her/him, but also those with whom they are in close proximity.
The health of the nation belongs to us all, the information you share with your friends could either save their lives or render them ill equipped to protect themselves.

This is Lesotho, a country that, even before the coronavirus pandemic already had monumental problems with regard to its healthcare services, now that it's in a state that sees its resources stretched to their curtailment, the best thing you can do for yourself is stay safe and help those around you stay safe.

Before forwarding a message, the first thing is to ask yourself,"Is this information accurate?"
There are many people that trust you as a university student to give them information that is unambiguous. Their lives are quite literally, in your hands. It is therefore insurmountable that you fact-check before sharing. The healthcare workers aren't the only ones responsible for saving lives, they are the secondary lifesavers. You are the primary lifesaver because you inform and update. Your information prevents an infection so that they don't have to deal with a case, so that we don't suffer further lockdowns.

The information you share, is pivotal in the fight against covid-19.
Check before you share, and remember that the health of the nation, belongs to us all.
You the youth, are the future of this nation. Always remember that.

Welcome to NUL, dear freshmen!

In The Office of NUL SRC Presidency

To : NUL Freshmen

I have been in constant enquiries with the management of the University about your arrival date and orientation program as I had indicated before. This is the final feedback:

*The arrival day is 8th September 2020 confirmed.*

The orientation is to take place as intended on the 9th September 2020. It will be done face to face in 3 different occasions. The schedule will be provided for once it's ready. I will make sure that I provide the people to usher you on the 8th (arrival day) to your respective rooms, and also on the 9th for the orientation, for the smooth run. In the meantime I am still in the process of follows ups on the list of people who have been granted the accommodation in campus and that will be communicated to you in due course.

We can't wait to see you here. Keep well.

Kind Regards
Reatlehile Makateng
The President NUL SRC

Voice of the Students' Union - VOSU

Revolutionary Greetings members of NUL SU

One of the disciplines of VOSU is to promote social development; of NUL SU, NUL Community and the Nation. We believe in the youth because the power lies in them whereas many do not know it yet. Ours is to promote youth leadership amongst our people.

In its operation framework, the VOSU leadership council approved and directed that platforms be created whereby our people shall discuss and debate their development. This will also widen up the eyes of many who perhaps were still in the dark in dealing with our related issues as the NUL SU Community and Basotho youth at large. We are pleased to inform you that VOSU will enable dialogues that will be done virtually via Zoom Meetings App almost every Saturday at 18:00 hours. There will be a theme for each week and the panelists will discuss and debate the theme. All are welcomed to join the proceedings. VOSU's vision is to broadcast those proceedings live on Facebook to enable the wide range of our union to catch it. We belive that this will contribute a lot in the development of our people.

We urge the SU to try to be part of this program so that we can be a different union. The union that no one can ever play with, the union that knows proper channels of administration, the union that knows what in needs in term of its development. (Re tla ba sechaba se hlakileng tsamaisong, sechaba sa baetapele, sechaba se butsuitseng, sechaba se matla!)

In VOSU we believe; 🔥
>> the voiceless shall be heard. 💪🏽
>> the people shall govern. 👨🏽‍🎨

Sincerely Yours
Phetetso Mashato
VOSU Spokesperson

Sincerely Yours
Phetetso
