We are a Christ-centered Daycare, Kindergarten, and Elementary school located on Kingdom Care Hospital Road, Du Port Road, Paynesville, Liberia. BACKGROUND:

CALM Foundation Christian Academy (CFCA) was established in 2024 by a veteran Public Health Expert, and a Systematic Theologian, Rev Louise Thomas Mapleh in support of the Ministry of Education

’s goal to “increase
equitable and disability-inclusive access to early childhood education program for all in a healthy, safe and protective learning environment by 2026/2027”. Confirming the Ministry of Education conviction that “Early Childhood Education (ECE) is a fundamental pillar of education that sets the basis for the holistic growth and development of young children, CALM foundation contributes to the Ministry of Education’s vision of enrolling children in school at the right age and in safe, healthy and protective environments. Coupled with the MOE’s vision, the belief of the Christian Community and the desires of parents and families to have their children demonstrate the highest level of preparedness and competencies for individual, family and nation building
through their God-given abilities and the purpose for their existence, the founder is inspired and ready to contribute to helping children begin steps to achieving their future. PHILOSOPHY:

The school believes that students are God’s creatures who can live to their fullest potentials. Based on the belief that all truth comes from God, and that every subject can be studied through a Christian worldview, CFCA values both academic excellence and character development, aiming to educate the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. The school also provides sound academic development and God-fearing behavior in all students in its care. to ensure their contributions to the wholesome functioning of their families, their individual lives, Liberia and the Global Community. The school believes that students are God’s creatures who can live to their fullest potentials, in the context of Jeremiah 29: Vs 11. We also believe that through play, especially during early childhood, children exploit their environment, develop motor skills and enhance their cognitive abilities. MISSION:

CFCA is committed to fostering growth, creativity and critical thinking in young leaders, providing a safe, academically challenging child-care centered environment where all students will solve problems, develop sense of self- worth, and embrace life-long learning competencies whereby they become productive citizens of Liberia and the global community. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

To Nurture children’s social and emotional skills in addition to academic competencies
To promote the Christian ethos of our school through positive relationships and partnerships with the children, their families and the wider Liberian society
To Strive for academic excellence where all children are challenged and supported in their learning
To promote play-based learning and interactive environments where children develop essential competencies that support their overall holistic development
To promote an environment where each child learns to his fullest potential and feels loved
To Provide a broad and balanced curriculum that encourages curiosity, an enquiring mind and a love of learning
To Offer excellent care and guidance where children are enabled to be safe, happy and healthy

What a wonderful time with our lovely students, Parents and Teachers. We are celebrating Christmas Break with a lot of festivities. Welcome to CALM Foundation Christian Academy! We provide high standards of care, hygiene, education and etiquette with love. Classes begin from 9-12 months (Day-Care) up to 5 years of age (Toddler to pre-first). We welcome parents who are interested in giving their children a solid foundational start throughout their educational journey. Come for a walk-through visit of our school.

In Academic 2026/27, we will accept students from grades 1 through 4.
