FRIDAY AT AZCSS: STUDENTS LEAD. SERVE. GROW. 💚

This Friday, our campus is getting a little more active — and we’re here for it!

At 12 PM, our students will take the lead as Level 5 hosts our first Student Assembly. A chance for students to step up, share their voices, have some fun, and experience leadership in action.

Then at 2 PM, we switch gears and head into our first Community Service Activity, bringing students, teachers, and parents together to give a little time and energy back to our community. 🌱🤝🏽

Two activities. One Friday.
Leadership in the morning. Service in the afternoon.

That’s the kind of school experience we’re building at AZCSS. 💚

There’s always more to the people behind the work.
For Episode 02 of “Get to Know the People Behind AZCSS,” meet Mr. Kollie — a dedicated educator, a leader, and one of the familiar faces helping move AZCSS forward.

Beyond the classroom, Mr. Kollie serves as the Vice Principal of Instruction, playing an important role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.

He’s also no stranger to making an impression — last school year, he was voted AZCSS’s Best Dressed Teacher.

But beyond the title and the style is a teacher who is deeply committed to his students, passionate about his work, and determined to make sure his students truly understand what they learn.

We’re starting something new at AZCSS — every week, we’ll shine a light on a student who is showing us what it means to show up, participate, stay responsible, and carry themselves well.

Our first Star of the Week is Mavin Paye Jr. of Level 4!👏🏽⭐

Mavin consistently comes to school neat and prepared, takes part in class, completes his assignments, and carries himself with a positive attitude. Those little things may seem simple, but they matter — and they deserve to be recognized. 💚

And to make the celebration even sweeter, Mavin is celebrating his birthday today! 🎂
