LECTURE SERIES | BOYS & GIRLS TALK 2026

Theme: "Real Talk, Real Growth & Real Impact"

Today, Dyawulu Cooperative Learning Center successfully hosted the first edition of impactful edition of its Lecture Series and Boys & Girls Talk, where students were inspired, challenged, and empowered by three outstanding guest speakers.

1st Speaker: Mr. Chester N. Cyrus
Topic: Kings In The Making

Mr. Cyrus challenged our students to embrace leadership, discipline, and personal responsibility. He emphasized that a king is not defined by age, wealth, appearance, or popularity, but by character, purpose, and the ability to learn from
mistakes. He encouraged students to remain focused on their education regardless of their mood and reminded them that true success comes through determination, consistency, and self-improvement.

2nd Speaker: Ms. A. Fumi Isaiah

Topic: Technology

Ms. Fumi Isaiah introduced students to the ever-growing world of technology and highlighted its importance in today's society. She discussed both the positive and negative impacts of technology, identified students interested in pursuing careers in the tech industry, and encouraged them to make informed career choices.

She reminded students that while technology makes our work easier, wise decisions and proper guidance are essential when choosing a future career path.

3rd Speaker: Mr. Darius P. Symuapoe

Topic: Choosing Marine Engineering as a Career

Mr. Symuapoe provided valuable insight into the field of Marine Engineering and Maritime Science. He explained that Liberia is home to the country's only Marine Science institution, operated by the Liberia Maritime Authority under the auspices of the Government of Liberia.

Students learned about life aboard ships, the opportunities available within the maritime industry, and the benefits enjoyed by marine professionals, including international travel and comprehensive support while working at sea.

He encouraged more young Liberians to consider careers in this important and rewarding field.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our distinguished speakers for investing their time, knowledge, and experiences in shaping the minds of our students.

At Dya-Wulu we remain committed to preparing future leaders through meaningful conversations, career guidance, and life changing opportunities.

As part of our regular routine and commitment to excellence in education, the teachers and staff of Dyawulu Cooperative Learning recently sat for their periodic assessment tests.

The assessment covered various areas, including CRITICAL THINKING, ENGLISH/GRAMMAR, READING, COMPREHENSION, MATHEMATICS, VOCABULARY, and other essential skills required for effective teaching and professional development.

Regular assessments are important because they help educators: βœ… Evaluate and strengthen their knowledge and skills. βœ… Identify areas that need improvement. βœ… Promote continuous learning and professional growth. βœ… Maintain high teaching standards. βœ… Enhance the quality of instruction delivered to our students.

At Dya-Wulu Cooperative Learning Center, we believe that learning never stops. Just as we assess our students to monitor their progress, we also challenge ourselves as educators to ensure we are providing the very best educational experience possible.

At Dya-Wulu, we do it differently πŸ‘Œ.
