The Ministry of Education congratulates Ms. Precious Teewah, a primary school teacher at Kids Explorer Primary School in Duport Road, Paynesville City, for winning the 2022 Presidential National Best Teacher Prize for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching.
Ms. Teewah was named as the National Best Teacher through a rigorous, competitive, independent, fair, and merit-based process by a panel composed of some outstanding and reputable educators in the country.
The Liberia National Educators Awards Program (LINEAP) is a flagship prize that intends to challenge the social construct of educators across the country and recognize the invaluable services and critical role teachers play in our nation-building.
This is a pivotal moment in our nation’s history: that teachers, for the first time, can be recognized as national heroes and heroines.
It is the hope of the Ministry of Education that this annual prize will help inspire excellence and innovation within our schools and learning environments.
