🌸 Rosetta Steps School Appreciation Post 🌸

Today, we extend our deepest gratitude to the Eta Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated – Liberia Chapter for their unwavering support to our school feeding program. Your generosity is not just filling stomachs — it is fueling minds, lifting spirits, and helping our students take confident steps toward a brighter future.

Because of your commitment to service and community upliftment, our children are able to learn with energy, dignity, and joy. 💚

Through this program 80 plus students are currently nutritious meals three times a week with more students signing up on a daily basis. The cost of enrollment for parents is only USD 3.50 per month. This amount is used towards preparation and logistics.

All meal items are fully funded by the Alpha Kappa Sorority and we remain grateful.

🌟 Real-World Learning in Action! 🌟

Today, our brilliant 9th Graders of Rosetta Steps accompanied by teachers Henry Zayzay and Stephen Akwu stepped outside the classroom and into the heart of national dialogue! They attended the Public Hearing on Electricity Tariffs organized by the Liberia Electricity Regulatory Commission (LERC) — an eye-opening experience that connected their studies to real issues affecting our country.

From understanding how electricity prices are set, to hearing stakeholders advocate for fair and sustainable energy access, our students gained firsthand insight into civic engagement, policy processes, and the importance of informed citizenship.

At Rosetta Steps, we believe learning goes beyond textbooks — it’s about preparing young leaders to think critically, ask bold questions, and participate in shaping Liberia’s future. 🇱🇷✨
