Eamel International Resource Academy - EIRA School System The Eamel International Resource Academy (EIRA) is a 'Junior Highschool' situated in Paynesville, a suburban community of Monrovia, Liberia

The Eamel International Resource Academy (EIRA) is a 'Junior Highschool' situated in a suburban community of Monrovia, Liberia situated in Guesthouse Road, Thinkersvillage, Paynesville. In 2008 the original EIRA bamboo school building was being planned and executed (in a different spot in Monrovia) by Pastor C. Blojay Ericson driven by the desperate search for teaching space for the children of the 'Embassy of Christ' Church within the ELWA community. The construction work of the bamboo-wood building lasted for 2 months in total starting in April 2008 and finishing in September 2008 but being interrupted by a shortage of money. Today the school occupies four restored school buildings left abandonned from the civil war. The school buildings are positioned around a small, green courtyard - the schoolyard. Almost all of the four buildings are painted and roofed since 2009. Proper sanitary buildings (bathrooms etc), school benches, table as well as books, boards, additional supply and support for the payment of teachers are desperately needed.
