NEW UL Department of Psychology ribbon-cutting...
26/03/2026
BREAKING NEWS: UL now has a Department of Psychology. As a psychologist by training, this means one of my dreams for UL has been fulfilled. Thank you to Acting Department Chair Andrew K. Dean, Amos C. Sawyer College Dean Josephus M. Gray, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Agnes Reeves Taylor, and our esteemed donor, the Massachusetts Alliance for the Restoration of UL (MARUL), for making this dream a reality. The Republic of Liberia will now benefit from an ever-expanding, trained mental health workforce. Thank you to MacDella Cooper for bringing the imprimatur of the Executive Mansion-Liberia to the occasion and thank you to Hon. Cynthia L. Blandford for the event support. A shout out to Ms. Humtrice S. Dogbe, who has already signed up to be UL's very first psychology student. Classes start in August!
