This is a great charitable gesture from our students and a great way of extending our love to the less privileged and orphans.

A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL SCHOOLS
Monrovia, March 16, 2020: Given the confirmation this morning by President George M. Weah and the Special Presidential Committe on the status of COVID-19 in Liberia - announcing that the country has as of Friday, March 13, REGISTERED its first case of the disease - the Ministry of Education has hereby mandated that All SCHOOLS (INCLUDING INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER LEARNING) shall suspend classes for one week, beginning Tuesday, March 17.
This is necessary to allow the health authorities conduct a complete surveillance and tracing of those said to have arrived on the flight along with the infected person, and all those who they might have come in contact with. This is a proactive measure intended to minimize the spread of the disease. Schools are scheduled to reopen on Monday, March 23, subject to further assessment of the situation.
Everyone is urged to strictly abide by this instruction.

Aware International School warmly received and admired the 2014 Peace Nobel Laureate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi, an Indian activist who campaigned against child labour and advocated the universal right to education. It was a wonderful and proud moments we have shared each other. His interaction with our children are more valuable in our milestones.
Today August 30 2019, 180 students from Gissi Camp Community School, received school materials worth 210,000 LD with a cash value of 100,000LD for the school Adminstration, from the Board of Director, Mr. Gopinadh pillai and the principal, Mrs. Beena Gopinadh of the Aware International School.
This is our way of giving back to our society.

Aware International School entering to a new academic year with an expansion of new annex building located in GSA Road, Paynesville. Our mission is to provide good education with best facilities and care.The brand new building will hold sixteen classrooms and is expected to minimize the congestion that the school faces. It will also allow for more children to have access to a pre-primary and primary school education.
