without a doubt, and each Liberian household can testified and acknowledge that the performance of President Sirleaf in steering the affairs of the state for the past 5 years has been excellent.
This has proven domestically and internationally that indeed, she possessed the required national will to rebuild war torn Liberia. She has produced a society characterized by rule of Law, Justice, Equality, Human Right, Transparency, Accountability, Political Tolerance, Press Freedom, Stability, peace and safe environment.

keeping her eyes on element of bad governance, which she considered as root cause of Liberian Civil conflict which she defined as lack of respect for human rights, social Economics and Political inequity and grinding poverty.
she has acknowledge that significant portion of the society were systematically excluded and marginalized from institution of political governance and access to key economics assets.
Restricted access to the decision making process., and limited the space for civil society participation in governance processes. she believed past political order bent on controlling the minds of the people through press censorship and blatant misinformation.
President Sirleaf's regime fr the above reason has made fundamental break of the past errors that erodes faith in past government.

Aims and Objective of COBEL.

To United and development the human capacity of all youth through civil and gender awareness programs.

To engage and encourage the development of projects and community based related programs for sustainable livelihood and total empowerment by ensuring genuine peace and reconciliation among community members.

To engage in the dissemination of information through print and electronic means, dispelling lies and misinformation aimed at destroying the image of society through awareness and sensitization, to consciously inform the populace of the importance to register and vote; to collectively bargain for the betterment and common good of the socierty.
