During their exchange year in the United States, YES students grow as individuals and leave a lifelong impact on their host family, school, and community. The students return to their home countries as passionate alumni, eager to make a difference.
I am proud of the impacts the program have had on these scholars.Their intellectualism and perspectives on issues are scholarly and analytical. They see themselves as global citizens. They are motivated to make a difference in their respective communities across Liberia. Congratulations and safe flight to the motherland.

With great pride in what we continue to do for young people, we have come this far with one of our traditional partners; the U.S. Embassy.
Yesterday , the U.S. Embassy Monrovia, Liberia through its Public Engagement Team paid our office an official visit.
During their visit, the team were very excited to learn about the incredible work that we continue to do at iEARN.
We were delighted to brief them about our engagement activities with young people through the Kennedy Lugar Youth Exchange Program, the Access Program and other professional development programs for teachers and students as well.
We are highly grateful and more encouraged to continue to do more for our young population, as they are the cornerstone for the future that lies ahead.

February 29, 2024, HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH!
The English Access Miscroscholarship Program is a U.S. Department of State funded program through the U.S. Embassy Monrovia, Liberia, and is being implemented by iEARN-Liberia
The ACCESS program provides foundation of English language skills to bright, economically disadvantaged students primarily between ages 13 to 20. Students on the program are giving English skills that may lead to better job and educational prospects. While on the program, they are exposed to American culture and society.
As part of the incredible journey of the ENGLISH ACCESS MICROSCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM being implemented by iEARN-Liberia, participants on the program today marked the celebration of BLACK HISTORY MONTH.
As a tradition of celebrating BLACK HISTORY, students played roles of incredible African Americans heroes and heroines and portrayed their contributions to American History.
Presentations were marked with deep thoughts and living hopes that those who have fought cannot be forgotten by any means..
The day concluded with a tour of the City of Kakata, Margibi County.
