Subject: Disbandment of the 119th Anniversary Committee and Constitution of the 119th Anniversary Steering Committee and Subcommittees

BRETHREN OF THE MYSTIC TIE,

Good morning.

Let me, in a special way, extend my sincere appreciation and thanks to all Grand Officers, Chief Templars of Subordinate Lodges, and other invited Brethren who graced yesterday's 2026 Grand Quarterly Communication. Your presence, participation, and contributions made the occasion meaningful and successful.

I also wish to extend special appreciation to the 119th Anniversary Committee for the report presented during the Quarterly Communication. The report provided an important foundation and set the stage for additional inputs and discussions, which ultimately led to the final outcome and decisions concerning our upcoming Anniversary celebration.

In view of the foregoing, and in the interest of efficiency, coordination, and effective ex*****on, I hereby disband the 119th Anniversary Committee and constitute a smaller and more effective 119th Anniversary Steering Committee, together with the necessary subcommittees, to coordinate and execute the activities leading to our 119th Anniversary Celebration scheduled for September 13, 2026.

The Grand Lodge of IOGT Liberia is pleased to announce that a Grand Initiation Ceremony for New Members will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
In preparation for this important occasion, all Chief Templars, Officers, and Members of the various Subordinate Lodges are hereby encouraged and directed to actively identify, recruit, and sponsor qualified individuals who are willing to become members of our noble organization. This initiative is aimed at strengthening our membership and expanding the impact of IOGT throughout Liberia.
Initiation Requirements and Fees
The total cost for each candidate is
US$150.00, broken down as follows:
a. Initiation Fee: US$50.00
b. Uniform: US$50.00
c. Refreshment: US$25.00
d. Membership Form: US$25.00
