The 72nd Boule in Las Vegas was a time for sisterhood and service for Eta Beta Omega!

Chapter members completed training for important certifications, celebrated the sorority’s achievements in community service, and welcomed a new administration under the leadership of International President Charletta Wilson Jacks. Plus, we witnessed the election of our 10th International Regional Director Carrie J. Clark to the position of First International Vice-President! 🩷💚🇱🇷🌍

Today is not only Liberia’s Independence Day, but also our chapter’s chartering anniversary! Through the valiant efforts of our late chapter member Anna E. Cooper, Eta Beta Omega was chartered on July 26, 1958. We are the first chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®️chartered outside of the United States! 🇱🇷🌍🩷💚

Eta Beta Omega is extremely proud of our scholarship recipient Jamesetta Pinky Gibson for defending her thesis!

Jamesetta is a Biology major at African Methodist Episcopal University. She successfully defended her Bachelor’s thesis titled “Menstrual Hygiene Practices and Their Association with Reproductive Tract Infections Among Young Women Aged 18–25 Years in Fundaye, New Kru Town, Liberia.” We are excited to see what she accomplishes in the future! 👩🏾‍🎓

Congratulations to our YLI cohort on their amazing presentations and completing the program! Their hard work and leadership development was on full display. Thank you to chapter member Claudette Grant for leading this effort. 🩷💚
