Eta Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Official page for Eta Beta Omega Chapter. Eta Beta Omega is the first international chapter founded in 1958 by Mrs. Anna E.

Alpha Kappa Alpha was founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C on January 15, 1908, making it the oldest Greek letter organization established in America by women of color. The sorority has a membership of more than 250,000 women in over 900 chapters in the United States and several other countries. Women may join through undergraduate chapters at a college or university or they may also join through a graduate chapter after acquiring an undergraduate or advanced college degree. Cooper but went dormant in the 1980’s due to the uprising of the coup in Liberia. In 2010, the chapter was reactivated by the following members: H.E Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Dr. Dawn Cooper Barnes, Meatta Hage, Clavenda Parker, Chiquita Johnson, Dr. Jean Manning Bell and Candace Eastman.

The 72nd Boule in Las Vegas was a time for sisterhood and service for Eta Beta Omega!

Chapter members completed training for important certifications, celebrated the sorority’s achievements in community service, and welcomed a new administration under the leadership of International President Charletta Wilson Jacks.
