Through the LEAP partnership, Bridge Liberia has worked alongside the Ministry to improve learning outcomes. As EXCEL moves into implementation, we are glad to contribute delivery at scale. The event was attended by NewGlobe COO Clement and CLO Tim.

In Liberia, children in Bridge-supported schools are learning twice as fast as their peers in early grades. For girls, this means catching up quickly and keeping stride with boys. On this , we celebrate what is possible when systems choose equity.

The Honourable Minister of Education of Liberia, Hon. Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah represented Liberia at the 2025 Education World Forum (EWF) in London.

She joined ministers and education leaders from around the world to share insights on how Bridge Liberia, under the Government’s LEAP program, is transforming foundational learning across public schools.

From teacher support and structured pedagogy to the use of real-time data, Liberia’s story is an inspiring example of how bold reform can lead to meaningful learning outcomes.

Education is the foundation of progress, and at Bridge Liberia, we are committed to ensuring that every child has the tools to learn, grow, and succeed. That’s why we have delivered 31,000 textbooks to 300 primary schools across all 15 counties—bringing the power of knowledge directly to Liberia’s classrooms! 🎉

Impact on Pupils:
With textbooks in hand, pupils can now actively engage in lessons, build stronger reading and comprehension skills, and deepen their understanding of core subjects. More books mean more learning, and more learning means a brighter future for every child!

These resources empower teachers to deliver well-structured, engaging, and effective lessons, helping them nurture the potential of every pupil. With consistent, high-quality materials, teachers can better track progress and provide targeted support where it’s needed most.

Bridge Liberia recently hosted a comprehensive workshop for all newly appointed County Education Officers (CEOs), ensuring they are fully onboarded and empowered to support schools effectively.

During the session, we:
Provided insights into our pedagogy, tools, and systems to enhance learning outcomes.

Took a deep dive into schools to understand their unique needs.
Aligned on tailored support approaches to maximize the impact on every pupil.
By working closely with county leaders, we can enhance learning outcomes, empower teachers, and ensure more children receive the quality education they deserve. This partnership is a major step toward transforming Liberia’s education system—one school at a time!
