Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a double sided CEASEFIRE! The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning Longterm PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East. We received a 10 point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate.

Almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran, but a two week period will allow the Agreement to be finalized and consummated. On behalf of the United States of America, as President, and also representing the Countries of the Middle East, it is an Honor to have this Longterm problem close to resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP

STATEMENT BY PUTU UNITED FOR DEVELOPMENT AND ACADEMIC AFFAIRS (PUDAA)
In Response to the Ill-Informed Remarks Attributed to Hon. Marie Johnson, Representative, Electoral District #2, Grand Gedeh County
Putu United for Development and Academic Affairs (PUDAA) issue this statement to express its profound concern and unequivocal rejection of the recent remarks attributed to Marie Johnson, Representative of Electoral District #2, Grand Gedeh County, in which she reportedly asserted that although employment opportunities were negotiated for her constituents, there were no qualified individuals from the district to fill those positions.
PUDAA vehemently rejects this assertion in the strongest possible terms. The statement is not only unfounded and misleading, but also reckless, dismissive, and unsupported by any empirical evidence. It reflects a troubling lack of awareness of the educational achievements, professional competencies, and human capital that exist within the district—particularly among the people of Putu.
Over several decades, the people of Putu and the wider Electoral District #2 have invested significantly in education and skills development, often under extremely challenging socioeconomic conditions. The district is home to graduates and trained professionals who are serving—and are fully capable of serving—in education, healthcare, engineering, mining, agriculture, information technology, public administration, finance, and other critical sectors of national development.
To suggest that no qualified individuals exist within the district is to erase these accomplishments, diminish earned credentials, and demean the sacrifices made by families and young people who have pursued education as a pathway to personal advancement and community development.
Such a sweeping and generalized claim further reflects a disturbing ignorance of the district’s demographic and professional composition, including its educated youth, returning graduates, and mid-career professionals who are actively seeking opportunities to contribute meaningfully to public service and national growth.
As an elected representative, Hon. Marie Johnson bears a clear responsibility to know, understand, and accurately represent the capacities, aspirations, and realities of her constituents. Statements of this nature do not advance advocacy or development. Rather, they stigmatize an entire population, undermine confidence in local talent, and risk discouraging public and private institutions from considering otherwise qualified candidates from the district in future recruitment processes.
PUDAA considers this posture inconsistent with the principles of inclusive governance, evidence-based representation, and constructive leadership expected of a public official entrusted with representing a marginalized and resource-hosting constituency.
Accordingly, PUDAA formally calls on Hon. Marie Johnson to immediately retract the statement and issue a public clarification that fairly, accurately, and respectfully reflects the qualifications and capabilities of her constituents.
In the alternative, and in the interest of transparency and accountability, PUDAA demands that Hon. Johnson publicly disclose the following:
1. Where and when the alleged job vacancies were announced;
2. Which ministries, agencies, or institutions these employment opportunities were negotiated with; and
3. The specific criteria and assessment processes used to conclude that no qualified candidates from the district were available.
Absent such disclosure, the statement remains speculative, damaging, and wholly unsubstantiated.
PUDAA also takes this opportunity to caution young people and professionals operating within political circles. Silence in the face of dangerously misleading narratives carries serious consequences. Young advisors, aides, and associates have a responsibility to exercise moral courage and professional integrity by advising leaders against statements that undermine education, merit, and the future employability of their own peers. Narratives that dismiss local capacity today have a direct tendency to harm the very youth who seek opportunity and inclusion tomorrow.
PUDAA firmly stands for:
• Recognition of merit and qualification;
• Fair, transparent, and inclusive access to employment opportunities;
• Respectful, informed, and responsible political representation; and
• The defense of the dignity, intellect, and potential of the people of Putu and Grand Gedeh County.
We remain committed to constructive engagement, dialogue, and development-oriented collaboration. However, we will not remain silent when narratives are advanced that misrepresent our people, diminish their achievements, and jeopardize their future prospects.

LFA Expels Referee Josephus Torjilor

The Liberia Football Association has, with immediate effect, expelled Class-A referee Josephus Torjilor from all LFA-organized activities.

Torjilor’s expulsion is consistent with the Referee Committee’s report from the match Nimba vs Grand Gedeh in the ensuing National County Meet.

His poor officiating brought referring and the game into disrepute and also caused grave damages and losses.
