2024 German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Scholarship

The Liberian Government, in collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), is pleased to announce graduate scholarships for Liberian scholars to pursue advanced studies at German universities for the 2025/2026 academic year.

This prestigious opportunity is available for various disciplines.

Application Process and Requirements

Required Documents

Successful applicants must submit the following documents to the Division of Scholarships, Ministry of Education, for vetting and validation:

1. Notarized Photocopies of Transcript: Minimum GPA of 3.0.
2. Notarized Photocopies of Degree Certificate.
3. Photocopies of Birth Certificate.
4. Photocopies of Passport: ECOWAS-Liberian Biometric Passport valid for at least five years.
5. Medical Certificate: Valid medical certificate, preferably from Jorkpen Town Medical Lab (located opposite Don Bosco High School, 8th Street, Sinkor).
6. Passport Size Photos: Six recent identical photos with a white background. The full name and nationality of the candidate should be written at the back of each photo.
7. Statement of Intent: This should include academic background/achievements, reasons for the chosen field of study, potential to succeed, and how the degree will contribute to Liberia’s development.
8. Curriculum Vitae (CV): Must include phone number and email address.
9. Two Letters of Recommendation : One professional and one academic.
10. Recent Police Clearance.

✔️Open conversations about menstruation the taboos, challenges, and promoting gender equality.
✔️Removing stigma.
✔️Breaking taboos etc.

aims is to change how the world (men) perceives menstruation and remove stigma and taboos surrounding women. 🧴🧻

Aims and objectives of this day:
When girls and women have access to safe and affordable sanitary materials to manage their menstruation, it reduce the risk of infections. This can overall effects sexual and reproductive health, including reducing teenage pregnancy, fertility, and maternal outcomes.

Therefore, this day was set aside by World Leaders and Health Experts to Education and Celebrated our Females.
