Exciting Progress at CELDI Tailoring Program!

The journey has truly begun! Our participants have officially started sewing, turning learning into a real skill and creativity into visible results.

Every stitch tells a story of dedication, growth, and the courage to build a better future with their own hands.

At CELDI, we believe empowerment is not just taught, it is practiced. And today, we are witnessing a transformation in action.

In the last few months, our participants have shown significant progress in both skill acquisition and engagement.

Key areas of training have included: Introduction to sewing machines and proper handling, Machine preparation (pairing), Fabric cutting using pattern paper, and Taking accurate body measurements.

They are actively engaged in the learning process and have demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm.

At CELDI, we are on a mission to change Liberia… one “child” at a time.

There is nothing more powerful than the smile of a child.

These bright smiles remind us why we do what we do. Behind every joyful face is hope being restored, confidence being built, and a future being shaped.

At CELDI, we are not just running programs; we are nurturing dreams and creating safe spaces where every child can learn and grow.

CELDI Afterschool Program is here to support, inspire, and empower underprivileged children beyond the classroom.

We provide academic support, mentorship, and character development in a safe and nurturing environment.
