The Center for Leadership Development Initiative (CELDI) is an amazing organization that does children and youth development in Liberia. You can find out more about us by browsing this website and our page. We are very unique because we exist to raise a new generation of servant-leaders in Liberia through:
Christian Education
Youth leadership development
Girls’ empowerment
Career/guidance counseling
After school & summer Camp programs

Our organization is designed and devoted to intentionally equip children and young people from vulnerable communities to transform themselves, their communities, and the nation-Liberia. We shall operate a center out of which all of our ministries shall be carried out.

Menstrual hygiene is not just about periods, it’s about dignity, health, and opportunity. Too many girls still miss school and face stigma simply because they lack access and support.

This World Menstrual Hygiene Day, CELDI is reaching over 300 girls in two counties (Montserrado and Margibi)—breaking silence, restoring confidence, and creating change.

Let’s end period poverty. Let’s empower her.

In the last few months, our participants have shown significant progress in both skill acquisition and engagement.

Key areas of training have included: Introduction to sewing machines and proper handling, Machine preparation (pairing), Fabric cutting using pattern paper, and Taking accurate body measurements.

They are actively engaged in the learning process and have demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm.

Skill by skill, stitch by stitch, our participants are growing in confidence, creativity, and competence. This week, we moved beyond the basics—turning learning into practice and passion into purpose.
