Physician Assistant Board of Liberia Pays Acquaintance Visit to BTech
The Leadership of the Physician Assistant Board of Liberia on Thursday, September 10, 2026, paid an acquaintance visit to the Physician Assistant Department and the President of the Nakita D. Forh School of Medical and Health Sciences at the Bushrod College of Science and Technology (BTech).
The delegation from the Physician Assistant Board of Liberia was headed by the Board’s Chairman and included the Co-Chairman and Secretary General.
According to the delegation, the visit formed part of the Board’s ongoing engagement with institutions offering Physician Assistant education and training, with the aim of strengthening collaboration, promoting professional standards, and ensuring compliance with established regulatory requirements.
During the meeting, the leadership of the PA Board of Liberia provided the BTech administration with important updates concerning its current operations, policies, and regulatory framework.
Discussions during the meeting particularly focused on new policies and regulations governing accreditation, clinical affiliation, student indexing, curriculum implementation, and other key areas affecting Physician Assistant education and professional development in Liberia.
The Board emphasized the importance of institutions offering PA programs working closely with the regulatory body to ensure that academic and clinical training meet the required national standards.
The discussions also provided an opportunity for the BTech administration to raise relevant concerns, seek clarification on regulatory matters, and explore practical approaches to ensuring that the institution remains aligned with the Board’s evolving policies and requirements.
The administration of the Nakita D. Forh School of Medical and Health Sciences, Bushrod College of Science and Technology, welcomed the visit and expressed appreciation to the Physician Assistant Board for the engagement and the timely information provided.
