Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatuhu.
Allah is giving us another opportunity in our life to witness the month of Ramadan. Ramadan is a great time of God’s blessings and His mercy. Every Muslim should take full advantage of this time. We should get ready now to welcome this month and receive it with happiness.
Following are some ways to welcome Ramadan:
1. Special Du’a
Pray to God that this month reaches you while you are in the best of health and safety so that you can fast and do all your acts of devotion with ease and enthusiasm.
It is reported by Anas ibn Malik that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to say from the beginning of Rajab in his prayers:
O Allah bless us in Rajab, bless us in Sha’ban and bless us in Ramadan. (Ahmad)
When he used to see Ramadan’s crescent, he used to pray:
O Allah, make this crescent to shine on us with safety, faith, security, Islam and good fortune to do what is beloved and pleasing to our Lord. Our and your Lord is Allah. (At-Tirmidhi)
2. Thanks and Happiness
When the month comes, then you should be thankful to God and show happiness. The companions of the Prophet Muhammad used to greet each other on the beginning of Ramadan.
The Prophet said giving the good news of the month to his companions:
The month of Ramadan has come to you. It is a blessed month. Allah has made obligatory on you to fast during this month. The gates of heaven are opened in this month and the gates of hell are closed and the devils are chained. In this month there is a night that is better than one thousand months. Whosoever is deprived of its blessings is indeed deprived. (An-Nasa’i)
3. Planning and Determination
You should make a good plan for the whole month about how you are going to organize your days and evenings during Ramadan.
Plan special schedules for your work so that you can pray on time, read the Quran and take Sahur (the meal consumed early in early morning before fajr prayer) and Iftar (breaking the fast at sunset, Maghreb prayer) on time.
Have sincere intention and determination to take full advantage of this time. Also have a full determination and commitment that you will not do any sin or anything wrong during this time.
Make sincere repentance and seek the forgiveness of those whom you might have offended. In this way you can benefit much more from your fasting and prayers.
4. Learn about the Rules of Fasting
Fiqh of fasting is very important so that you do not do anything that will spoil your fasts. Learn the way of Prophet Muhammad in fasting. That is the best way. Fast is not spoiled only by eating and drinking during the fast, but also by speaking bad words and doing wrong things.
The Prophet Muhammad said:
“Whosoever does not give up bad words and bad deeds, Allah has no need in that he leaves his food and his drink.” (Al-Bukhari)
5. Charity, Generosity and Kindness
The month of Ramadan is the month of kindness, charity and generosity. Plan to invite your neighbors, co-workers, friends, Muslims and non-Muslims to have Iftar meal with you.
Let your non-Muslims friends and neighbors know about this month and its blessings. Be more generous and help the poor and needy. Plan to give your alms and charity at this time and help others as much as you can.
It is reported in a hadith:
The Prophet – peace be upon him – was the most generous person, but in Ramadan he used to be more generous when Gabriel used to meet him. Gabriel used to see him during Ramadan every night and he used to read the Quran with him. The Prophet –peace be upon him – was then more generous with goodness than the blowing wind. (Al-Bukhari)
May ALLAH (SWT) make us to see this Year Ramadan and many other Ramadans to come in good health.
Aameen.

In the name of Allah the most high and merciful
When you have completed the prayer, remember Allah, standing, or sitting, or on your sides. And when you feel secure, perform the prayer. The prayer is obligatory for believers at specific times.

NEVER LOSE HOPE IN ALLAH
There is a major barrier that’s blocking many Muslims from getting closer to Allah and improving their relationship with Him. This barrier is losing hope in the mercy of Allah. Sometimes people think that Allah will never forgive them because of the multitude of their sins. As a result, they slacken in performing their acts of worship and some even abandon them as they lose hope in attaining the mercy of Allah. However, Allah, The Exalted has said:
“Say, ‘O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.’” (Surah Az-Zumar, Ayah 53)”
What we need to understand is that no one is perfect and part of being imperfect is falling into errors, including committing sins. Because committing sins is a part of our design, that is why Allah’s most emphasized attribute is His Mercy. It is a fact that mankind will commit sins. The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, “All humans are sinners and the best sinners are those who repent much.” (Recorded in Abu Dawood)
It should also be noted that there are several stories in the Qur’an and Hadith about people who committed dreadful crimes and were forgiven when they repented and sought forgiveness from Allah.
So, what we must do is recognize that Allah is the Most Merciful. We cannot abandon Allah due to our sins because no one is exempt from committing sins. At the same time, we shouldn’t use Allah’s Mercy as an excuse to commit sins. However, we should always have hope in the fact that no matter what we do, or how massive our sins are, Allah will always forgive them if we turn to Him sincerely in repentance and try our best to please Him. It is because of His mercy He made us to sin so that we can turn to Him for forgiveness and get closer to Him. Hence, we should never lose hope in attaining His mercy.
Remember to repent and seek forgiveness before it is too late as we do not know the time of our departure from this world.

It is important to understand what Islam says about sleeping with someone that you are not married to.
As a Muslim, it is important to know what there is to know about what acts are considered sinful. Below are the things Islam says about fornication.
1. The Arabic root of the word fornication (zina) is zana.
2. To fornicate means to have sexual in*******se with a woman that one is not married to.
3. The man who fornicates is called “zani” and the woman is called “zaniyah”.
4. Hanafis describe zina as a fiqh term as follows: the sexual in*******se of a man who is mukallaf (responsible) with religious decrees with a woman who is mature enough to be desired for sexual in*******se and who is not his wife or female slave in an Islamic country from the front part of their bodies.
5. Hence, It is necessary for the g***s of the p***s to enter the va**na for the punishment of hadd to be carried out. Other acts, for instance, kissing, hugging, rubbing the p***s between the thighs, etc do not necessitate the punishment of hadd ( fixed by the Quran) although they are haram.
6. Since small children and insane people are not mukallaf, their fornication does not necessitate the punishment of hadd.
7. According to Abu Hanifa, a**l in*******se with a man or woman (liwata) is not decreed as zina because it cannot be defined as zina.
8. Islamic scholars agree unanimously that the punishment of hadd is not needed for a woman who is forced to fornicate. As for the man who is forced, according to the preferred view of Shafiis and Malikis, it is not necessary to carry out the punishment of hadd or tazir (any punishment other than hadd) for such a man.
9. Zina is regarded as a haram and ugly act in both Islam and the previous heavenly religions. It is one of the greatest sins. Its punishment is the most severe hadd punishment because it is a crime against honor and generations.
10. The punishment of the fornication of a single man and a single woman is one hundred stripes.
